荷蘭Delft 工業生態學永續議題相關碩士課程

前言

到了申請碩士課程的季節，想要效法仲恩之前分享申請留學相關資料的精神，仲恩分享留學經驗的連結

已經在荷蘭一年，應該要把我比較熟悉可以申請的工業生態學（industrial ecology）、永續發展相關的課程寫出來，讓有興趣或需要的人參考

出國前，對於未來想要念的領域似乎有點清楚，我希望能夠改變台灣的自然環境，不論是既有工業區內的改善或是自然環境相對良好的開發案，諸多的環境新聞報導中政策執行和規劃造成了環境衝突，細節的部份我認為和不願面對的真相影片中所提到的政府結構性問題有關。但是對於真正應該要念什麼領育，才可以解決這樣的問題，我又實在毫無頭緒。另外一直在腦袋中盤旋的是，我有能力去作政策規劃的部份嗎？到底要怎麼作呢？

工業生態學或許是這個階段的答案，Leiden和 TUDelft 的 Industrial Ecology 提供很完整的跨領域訓練，可以探索了解環境問題社會學工程的解決方法。因此在荷蘭過去一年，許多社會學與都市發展的課程（Social Science, Policy and Management; Social Innovation; Urban Infrastructure and Environment）都有接觸到類似的領域，有些社會學的工具是能夠應用在政策規劃上的例如 Transition management, Backcasting, Functional Innovation System, Strategic niche management，Agent based modeling 等等（有興趣的人可以google看看到底再說些什麼或是看去年的讀書心得都有提到一些），都是可以應用的工具。只是我個人的感覺是以目前自己的專業能力（例如風力發電、太陽能發電）不夠，工作經驗不夠長，沒有辦法把社會學的工具靈活應用，導致分析最後的建議不夠具深入，所以目前決定把自己的專業加強（green chemistry），並且試著應用這些工具在未來的工作上。

Industrial Ecology (IE)
這是我現在正在念的課程，特色是課程涵蓋範圍最廣，不只是和再生能源有關，也有談政策如何落實、工廠製成如何改善、產品生命週期分析(life cycle assessment)、物質流分析(material flow analysis)，大概所有能夠讓環境改善的面向都有談到，但是沒有辦法談的都沒有辦法非常深入。但是如果你想要多涉獵一些不同領域（跨領域），可以選擇這一個課程

目前的學習心得

唸完IE不一定可以讓你更清楚能夠在"永續"這個領域可以作些什麼，IE in TUDelft 的訓練，對我而言是很多社會科學的學習，觀察政策與報告，可以發現某些問題可以大幅改善的地方，但是實際能夠解決問題的技術是沒有辦法在必修課裡學到，例如 industrial symbiosis的點子可以提高整體（工業區和鄰近地區）熱能的使用效率，但是這裡的課程沒有辦法讓妳學習到熱交換設計的技術；要提高多少再生能源的收購價格才可以有效推動台灣再生能源的發展（或許這會是個好碩士論文題目）。大部分提出來的建議就是多開工作坊增加學習網路（network learning）內的訊息交流、提供充足資金援助等等。我想等待自己的專業能力增強，或是要花足夠的時間作田野調查，才能夠提出比較深刻的建議。

My thesis topic searching trail to finish in 2 year in Industrial Ecology program
- Life will find their way.

I start to think about thesis topic is before the program when I was in Taiwan. At that time, the topic in my mind is about increase water efficiency in agriculture or industry topic.

After half year study, in May 2011 I start to search my topic and getting nervous is in the end of May. Last time I did my thesis topic research is in the beginning of the program, I asked the director of the program about thesis preparation, I still remember he recommended me finish the first year courses first. In June it was the time Professor Pong rose the food production issue in Taiwan. I was really enthusiastic about this topic and thought some ideas about how to increase the Taiwan food and energy dependency. Some scenarios can be created by material flow analysis or agent based modeling. I can try to find the key point of these issue. When doing a scenario modeling it is important to make sure how to set up the model and find a good data for modeling. An other idea is about renewable energy from agriculture waste. This topic may link back to my chemistry back ground. Some crazy idea, like using algae produce fuel or gasification the agriculture waste, start to full in my brain. However, after discussing with some friends, I realized it is difficult to get the correct useful data from Taiwan. To do systematic analysis or modeling in Taiwan, it will take lots of time on collecting data. Collection data will not be my point of research.

Before the summer break, professors were not be in the university. I was afraid to ask someone. I found it was also difficult to find some one is knowledgable to discuss with. I spent lots of time reading relative materials, but the topic still not clear. The purpose to contact with experts is to know their opinions about your idea because they know what is going on in their field. They are capable to guide you find a suitable topic. I think the guide part is lack in the program in the second semester. How the thesis issues pup out is more or less like “The is the time to decide your topic, try to get it before summer break...”

There are some difficulties to contact experts.
They are busy so they may not reply your email or your call.
They don’t know who you are so they don’t know how to respond or not like to respond.

Therefore, life will find their way.

Try to find the network in order to contact people. Attend some conference may also help network building.
Don’t be afraid to express the opinions during the discussion.

After the summer break, I invited my family to travel in Europe. I restart again to dive in the thesis topic preparation is in the beginning of October. Make an appointment with someone will take around one week, it is very important to bear in mind. I try my best to arrange several discussions with experts to find my thesis direction. It was really frustrate and depress because I spent lots of time but the topic still does not decide yet. Everyday when I waked up, I didn’t feel energetic because I know it will be a day to do some research on possible topics and write email to someone and wait for response, but I still don’t know what to do for my thesis.

However, I really want to graduate in time and frustrate cannot help any thing. My deadline for myself on thesis topic is in the end of october. I cannot decide at that moment because I didn’t see any topic I like yet. It was really really hard time.

Professor Hemmes gave me a big shock. His message is from May to October, I still didn’t decide my topic yet. I am waste my time. I need to decide it soon if I really want to graduate in time. Try to find something is related to my background since industrial ecology is a broad training.

The first two weeks of November is a decision key period. There are three possibilities of thesis topics, a LCA research in a tap company, a green chemistry lab experiment and a green TUDelft campus design. How to choose them. I check my thesis topic criteria and my experience. After talking with key project person, I decide to do a lab thesis because I want to have a solid research and it is also linked to my chemistry background, which means it is feasible to be done. Most of the programs in Industrial Ecology give a very nice overview of the solutions in technology, urban design, social science and policy. I found the result is usually to give a broad advice, but it is hard to really feedback to the problem. For example, we all know industrial symbiosis is a good thing to do, but if I decide to do industrial symbiosis in a company, I don’t have knowledge to start a heat exchange system. Therefore, I want to go deeper in the green chemistry field and try to link it back to the systematic thinking.

Suggestions - my rule to find a topic

Before find a professor, think what is the requirement for yourself to find a topic. It is not only about the topic will be in which field, but also other considerations, like working environment (work alone or in a group), what the expectation of the result, what kind of knowledge will you gain, what kind of job will it be after the work, what kind of method will it be, how much capacity of that type of research you have. Keep in mind thesis is only your responsibility to solve.
Set up a deadline for the topic There are always nice topics after you decide a topic. If the topic is more or less on the track, give it a try. Wondering around is not good.
Contact with professors and knowledge people as earlier as possible Come with some proposal if possible before talk with them. Then they will have some idea how to guide you.
Deal with negative Emotion  The negative emotion make me feel depress if I cannot find a topic. Find your way to solve it. Talk with other IE people or sport.
If want to go deeper in one field, prepare earlier. Otherwise, it is easy to go back to previous study.

生物地理發生學/ Biogeomorphology

這門課的名字很長，生物地理發生學討論的是生物加上環境的因素對於水文循環的影響，我沒有水文學的背景，但是因為之前在生態顧問公司工作有遇到相關的課題，所以希望利用這個機會充實一些知識。這門課的範圍包含風與水的侵蝕作用對地景的改變、生物在草原與出海口溼地對水文的影響、森林對於水文循環的影響。上課的學生只有三個人，老師決定用更加互動的方式上課，每次上課前會提供相關的論文，一個人閱讀一篇，在上課時簡報論文內容，一起分析優缺點以及討論文章的獨創性，小班制的教學，老師能有效的提供每個人建議，這個經驗增加我對於論文分析的能力。以下是分享幾個新概念。

森林的功能有兩個新的想法。一般來說森林能保護坡面，因為樹木的葉子能夠減少雨水對於土壤的沖刷，樹木的根部能夠固定土壤增加穩定性並且吸收水分，但是當根部無法支持坡面上樹木和土壤的重量時，會導致坡面崩塌，這個狀況會在樹木根部淺，森林還在生長的時候發生，大規模的坡面植樹更需要注意這點。另外一個新的觀點，區域降水受到鄰近海洋季風影響大於森林面積的影響，Bruijnzeel (2004) 解釋在泰國北部(Nam Pong)雖然森林面積從80%減少到27%，但是夏季季風降雨，使整體降雨量並沒有減少。

目前的水文模型對於生物所造成的影響還沒有辦法有效的評估，若只按照水文學的理論所建立出來的模型比起根據經驗法則所建立出來的模型，因為經驗法則才能相對有效評估生物的影響，準確度差了許多，舉例來說推估河川的含沙量，河川底棲動物的活動會影響到底泥的穩定性，因為難以評估生物的活動狀況，理論評估的結果與實際狀況可能會有很大落差。

都市環境與設施的規劃/ Urban Environment and Infrastructure

全球的都市人口逐漸增加，都市對於水、能源、物質、交通的依賴也越來越大，同時需求增加的各種資源成本也越來越高，減少都市對資源的依賴是這一門課的學習目標。課程內容包括都市中水、能源、物質、交通的設計，同時也提到智慧電網、政策執行、生活品質考量等相關的內容，最重要的一個環節是如何整合這幾項議題做整體的考量。

課堂的作業是規劃一個在鹿特丹的港區內實際案例，原本一塊港口的腹地(Keilehaven)，因為港口向外遷移，將重新規劃作為住宅區使用，都市規劃位置鄰近鹿特丹與臺夫特，有許多學生與年輕就業者的需求。當地主管單位對都市更新的態度是除非有妥善設計的永續計畫，否則他們也不會進行變更。期末的報告，是各組將整合水、能源、物質、交通的設計和當地主管機關討論。

上課的內容，除了概念原則性的介紹，還有許多實際量化的評估，評估的結果能增加對規劃的政策或是住宅節能效果的瞭解，但是究竟要花多少經費卻沒有提到，導致我們的設計常常採用效果最佳的方式，卻不知道實際執行的阻力，經濟上的阻礙，可能是推動上的一大阻力。

課堂上有多充滿驚奇的案例，德國的社區(EVA Lanxmeer, Culemborg)，設計灰水回收系統(灰水指較乾淨的污水，廁所污水以外的水，如洗澡水)作為園藝用水、廁所使用乾溼分離(尿液與糞便分開處理)、儲存雨水作為灰水或是過濾後作為飲用水使用，尿液不需經過複雜的處理可以作為農業肥料，糞便與廚餘經過發酵產生的沼氣可以作為發電使用，發酵後的產物(slurry)也可以作為農業的肥料，水、能源、農業的整合，是非常令人羨慕的成效。

永續創新與社會調試/ Sustainable Innovation and Social Change

上學期的社會系統的政策管理最後有提到共同演化(Co-evolution)，概念是政策會影響社會運作，運作的結果會回饋到政策擬定，共同演化的概念延續到社會創新的課程。這一門課的兩個方向，第一個部份是討論新的永續創新科技要如何推廣到社會中，社會要如何改變，適應新的創新科技，兩個社會學的分析架構用於這個議題的討論：功能性分析創新系統(Functional Innovation System, FIS)和策略性的利基管理(Strategic Niche Management, SNM)；第二個部份是變遷管理(Transition management)，在瞭解推廣過程中發生的問題之後，以一個長時間的角度(大於十年以上)來看問題的核心，提出二十年後的願景，往回推建立這數十年階段性的目標，規劃時間長的優點是有充足的時間做改變，能夠從問題的根本開始考慮，提出給解決方案(Think out of box)，如果未來的規劃影響既得利益者，這個阻力因為有足夠的時間做調試，避免正面衝突。

這一門課的作業是研究永續創新案例，我們的題目是肯亞的沼氣(Biogas)燃料推廣。分析的工具是功能性創新系統(FIS)，它的理論是分析創新的過程組織結構是如何隨時間改變，而創新系統(Innovation system)能夠被成功推動，表示它的功能性指標已經蓬勃發展，例如足夠的資金與人材、充分的研究、相關的知識傳播網路已經成熟等等，由文獻的回顧與資料的搜尋可以觀察不同功能的發展狀況。肯亞沼氣燃料系統無法成功推廣，問題在於當地人沒有足夠的資金購買設備、沒有足夠的認證技師可以架設發酵設備(Biogas plant)，因此市場的發展腳步很慢，相關的產業無法帶動，也沒有國家整體性的推廣計畫，由於這幾項功能沒有被滿足，所以已經推廣四十年的肯亞沼氣燃料依舊成功。瞭解問題之後，應用變遷管理(Transition Management)的思考如何改善，如果有二十年的時間可以規劃沼氣燃料的使用，我們認為沼氣設備的建立，對肯亞有許多優點，分散式的設備讓幅員廣闊的肯亞不需要建設長距離管線設計，分散系統可以創造當地工作機會，設備的維護也需要人力，另外我們考慮未來的發展應該要讓這個系統的原料可以供應的更穩定，研發不同的原料使用(如農業廢棄物、家庭有機廚餘)、資金補助、市場建立、合格技師的認證制度，二十年後的肯亞將是家家戶戶都有穩定的沼氣可以使用，依據這個願景我們擬定了其中的階段性目標。值得一題的是變遷管理是希望能夠影響(stir)未來的發展而不是控制未來的發展，藉由一次又一次利害關係人工作坊的討論，按照步驟由問題擬定、願景規劃、階段目標的設計，過程能夠讓不同組織之間瞭解彼此的立場，並且從中學習達成長遠的目標。

永續科技的設計/ Design of Sustainable Technological systems

這一門課主要包含的概念有產品生產的流程如何納入永續設計的想法、計算工廠使用物質與能量的平衡、水資源與熱能交換的優化(Pinch Technology)、綠色化學的概念、增強製成的效率(Process Intensification)。這門課特別之處是學習到一個產品從概念設計到量產完整的概念，和各階段可以改進的地方。

專案管理(Project Management)，其中重要的精髓就是專案設計的過程要盡可能回顧最根本的動機，因為細部設計定稿之後執行計畫能夠調整的幅度不大，要確定一開始的動機有被貫徹。

水資源與熱能交換的優化(Pinch Technology)是念工業生態學之前最想要瞭解的內容之一，它的內容以熱能交換為例，計算將多餘的熱供給需要加熱的部份，可以避免多餘的能量花在加熱與降溫的能源使用，同樣的計算邏輯也可以用在水的使用。上完之後會覺得有點遺憾，因為沒有一個完整的案例可以操作，雖然理論上是可以減少資源的使用，但是管線與熱交換的設備所需要的花費沒有被考慮，沒有辦法估計可以回本的時間，如果可以增加討論實際應用會面臨到的阻礙，例如成本考量、工廠的整體製成調整，對於未來使用這個概念會更有幫助。

增加製程的效率也是新的概念，隨著能源與原料的價格提高，工廠必須更有效率的使用資源降低成本，許多增加生產效率的方式被提出來應用，例如改變反應槽的設計，槽內添加許的小的隔間，增加催化劑與反應物的反應面積，反應槽體積就可以縮小同時擁有相同的效率；酵素的催化劑可以讓副產物的量降低，也讓反應可以在室溫下進行；利用微波加熱可以精準的提供能量給特定的化合物反應，減少額外熱能的使用。這些有潛力的方法，已經被使用在某些化工廠中(例如DSM)，隨著原物料的價格提高，將能夠刺激新製程的使用。

工業生態學的應用有許多優點，增加工廠的安全性、減少能源原料的使用、減少廢棄物的產生，但是至今為何沒有效的落實，有幾個關鍵性的原因：工廠的投資已經回本，即使舊制程會比新制程產生更多污染，只要工廠繼續營運，仍然有可觀的利潤，工廠不會想要做改善；新制程的研發速度過慢，無法應付市場的改變。政府必須扮演重要推手，給與工廠改善的動機，例如提高工廠放流水的標準、新制程的補助，將有助於減少工廠對於環境的污染。

光看這門課程的名稱，就知道這個主題包羅萬象，不只談全球暖化，地球工程處理暖化問題(Geo-engineering or Earth system engineering)、氧、碳的循環、大氣與海洋的循環系統、系統中的複雜性、外來種入侵、基因改良作物、天然資源對發展的限制、道路對於生物棲地的切割效應、鯨豚的保育都包含在內。總體來講是在探討物理系統(Physical system)與象徵系統(Symbolic system)的交互影響。

工業生態學處理物理系統與象徵系統重疊的部份

自然資源對於再生能源發展的限制是容易被忽略的議題。試想如果有充足的經費，將所有非再生能源（燃煤與燃石油）發電的能源用最高效率的太陽能與風力發電取代，是否能夠解決能源問題？儘管再生能源發電表面上看起來是合適的發展方向，一旦設備完成架設之後，電力就能夠源源不絕的產生，暫且不討論每年實際能夠運轉的時間與能源穩定性，隱藏在高效率的太陽能與風力發電背後的是貴重金屬的使用尚未被重視。目前預估的貴重金屬蘊藏量並無法製作足夠的太陽能板與風力發電機取代非再生能源發電(Kleijn and van der Voet, 2010)。發展不需要貴重金屬的再生能源是須要被重視，利用充足的礦源作為太陽能板的主要材料，另外盡可能發揮貴重金屬的使用效率，例如回收電子器材內的貴重金屬，這裡也要注意回收過程能源的使用，如果投入的能源與資源大於採礦，也不是合適方法。

另外一個特別值得討論的是利用地球工程處理暖化問題，到底是否該使用？地球工程減緩溫室效應主要有兩個方向，減少地球吸收太陽光(Solar Radiation Management, SRM)與移除溫室效應氣體(Carbon Dioxide Removal, CDR)。減少陽光的吸收可以藉由增加沙漠對於太陽光反射、增加大氣中水氣或是空氣懸浮粒反射陽光(例如火山爆發釋放大量氧化硫(SO2)氣體，造成溫度降低的現象)；移除溫室效應的氣體可以利用森林固碳、海洋培養海藻吸收二氧化碳、或是直接將空氣中的二氧化碳以人工的方式固定在地殼中如碳捕捉(Carbon capture storage)。有人贊成使用地球工程，因為減緩地球暖化策略還沒有效進展，美國和中國兩個最大的排放國對於減量的程度都還沒有明確的共識，所以使用地球工程是目前迫切必須採取的手段。反對的人則是站在對於地球工程不可預測性的風險，全球都會受到影響，加上可能的不可回復性，例如採用增加二氧化硫在大氣層中的濃度，作為降溫的方式，可能因為錯估氣體施放量，造成地球溫度過冷，啓動冰河期的機制。我的看法是，地球暖化的程度還不知道，已經突破多少不可回復的臨界點還在評估當中，例如冰川的消失、北極的冰山融化，還剩下多少年會永久改變海洋或大氣循環。對於住在面臨暖化威脅地區的人，他們一定在乎地球工程一旦失敗，海平面上升的威脅，但是另一方面，如果明明知道能有效減緩的措施而沒有執行，不也是對這群人不公平呢？不能夠限制地球工程的發展，因為這是最後一道防線，能夠在發生最糟的狀況之前採煞車，及早研究衡量使用地球工程可能的衝擊，同時另外一方面更需要去瞭解現在暖化離最糟的情形還有多久，才能判斷啓動地球工程的時機。

分析工具與方法學 / Analytic tools and methodologies

這一門課是工業生態學最主要的基本功，強調以系統性的思考分析產品、製程或是人類活動對於環境的影響。上課的內容主要是說明生命週期分析(Life-cycle assessment)與物質流分析(Material flow analysis)這兩個工具。

生命週期分析，生命週期是指從產品所需要的原料、運輸、製造、儲存、丟棄的這一連串過程，分析所需要的能源、原料量化成對於環境的衝擊，例如溫室氣體效應(Global warming potential)、優氧化影響(Eutrophication)、土地改變使用的影響(Land-use change)等。分析的第一步就是要定義功能性的單位(Functional unit)作為比較的基準，例如比較同樣大小厚度的紙袋與塑膠袋，哪一個對於環境影響衝擊大；一公升的廢食用油製成的生質柴油與石化柴油，何者對於環境衝擊大。另外一個重要的步驟是定義資料盤查系統的邊界，因為已經有許多生命週期的資料庫可以提供的資料，例如不同運輸工具的二氧化碳排放量、在美國生產一公斤玉米的原料消耗，所以要明確說明哪些資料是從研究的系統提供。

另外生命週期分析的作業是比較油菜種子(Rape seed)和牲畜糞便(manure)發電產生的衝擊，油菜種子油是學習如何使用網路上生命週期資料庫的資料，牲畜糞便的資料則是分析作業提供的資訊，作業的模練習對瞭解如何使用生命週期的分析軟體和資料的輸入有很大的幫助。

物質流分析(Material flow analysis)是瞭解界定的系統內物質輸入輸出的情形，以及是否有物質在系統內累積，作為政策分析的工具。物質分析(Substance flow)的作業是分析氮在農作物系統內的分布，氮的來源包括從大氣中以化學方法固氮作為肥料、牧草輸入、植物生長、動物消耗牧草、氮釋放到大氣與水中，分析的結果發現因為現在高比例的肉類食用須要大量氮源的輸入(如牧草或是大氣固氮)，另外大量氮源輸入也造成大量釋放氮到大氣與河川中，以氧化亞氮(N2O)會造成溫室效應，硝酸鹽(NO3-)會造成河川優氧化。同學提出改變飲食習慣的建議，減少肉類食用是最直接有效的方法，另外一個方式以昆蟲作為蛋白質來源，因為昆蟲不需要大量的牧草，轉換牧草變成蛋白質的效率比牛豬高很多，模擬飲食習慣改變後的結果都能增加對於氮的使用效率。

隨著全球人口增加，能源需求也隨之提高，預估在21世紀末能源需求是目前的8-16倍，此外目前能源供應以非再生能源的石化燃料為主，在石化能源的蘊藏量逐漸減少的情況下，再生能源更顯得其重要性。課程的內容主要介紹各種不同再生能源的發電原理以及發電效率、電力系統的基本介紹，包括太陽能、風力、生質能、海洋溫差發電、核能、燃料電池不同能源類型。

多種能源原料輸入多種能源產品產出的概念是其中最特別的一個部份(Multi-sources Multi-product)，目的是以不同能源原料的組合發揮最大的效用，最簡單的例子是汽電共生發電，使用石化或生質燃料同時產生熱蒸汽與電能。應用在再生能源上，以風力發電與燃料電池兩種能源系統結合(Superwind)為例，風力發電不足時，可以使用燃料電池補充不足的部份，燃料電池可以快速啓動的特性很適合與能源供應不穩定的再生能源結合，當風力發電能源過剩，則可以將能源儲存於氫氣中，作為燃料電池的能源。應用在太陽能上，當太陽能板發電效率最高時也是太陽能板溫度最高的時候，溫度增加減少發電效率，若能結合太陽能熱水器的概念，利用水帶走熱能，得到的熱水可以用於需要熱水的功能，兩者結合能增加發電效率。

Objective

The goal of this class is to help students understand how to analyze and interpret data. Develop the ability to predict the possible outcome by observing the behavior of the database. Traditional programming class is only interested in how to write a good program, instead of emphasizing how to think as the computer and manipulate the computer work properly. The final exam is a good example to show achievement of this goal. The instructor gave students toy frogs, which can jump consecutively in the same position. The question was to draw and explain the possible mechanical design of the frog. In order sessions the instructor will periodically reward students with visual challenges. Students are to interpret the possible system and predict the behavior represented by the data. These brainstorming challenges help us observe the system and give our own explanation.

Lesson Learned

In order to understand behavior of the system, the learning of the procedure to build model from the original data with existing software is necessary. (see Graph I) First, Filter the data from the complex information. Due to the lack of structure of the original data, it is hard to use original data for calculation. AWK is a simple but powerful software that can deal with this issue. It can also search using pattern tool and has the capability to rearrange the data. Second, Calculate the data. Two software are introduced in this step, SQLite and Octave. SQLite can cope with basic problems. Octave, like Metlab, can calculate the complex matrix. Third, Plot the calculated data. GNplot is a clear software for plotting scientific data, not like Excel which is heavy with lots of unused information during the calculation. The attention to details for presenting the findings using GNplot was especially important. Lastly, Netlogo is a well-designed software to stimulate the behavior of the models.

The final presentation is to analyze the data from United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The data contains the complete green house gas emission from different sectors in Europe countries, and the time of the data is from 1900 to 2008. Our goal is to find some strange problems from the data, like the abrupt drop in the sector, and the conversion factor (global warming potential) effected on the total emission. The judges for the final presentation are composed of the professors from the Industrial Ecology and the researchers from the consultant company. Most of the students do not have the experience for writing the program, and worried about this assignment. However, the professor significantly motivated students. He discusses with the students to adjust the way of teaching and optimized the benefit for the education. In the end of the class, students find some valuable results and are not afraid of writing program anymore. The researchers bring these results back to the company and discussed with colleagues.

My research is about the emission of the chemical industry in Ireland. The green house gas (GHG) suddenly dropped down to zero in 2003. After intensive research, I found the explanation of the investigation report from the Ireland government. The chemical industry is defined for the agriculture related chemical factories, such as the factories for the ammonia. The government owned both factories, and due to the economic difficulties they closed down in 2003. All the fertilizer had to be imported from other counties.

The feedback of the class
It is a very good start for the programming. I know how to start the analysis from a chaos data, and analyze the possible key questions. I can present the finding clearly with the graph. In addition, I relate to passion of the practical issues from the professor. I expect my thesis will also follow current real issues.

課堂教學的目的

這一門課主要的目的是希望學生在學習之後，能夠藉由資料看出系統的行為，或是由系統的行為看出資料可能的形式，這和計算機概論不相同，舉期末考的例子來說，其中一題考題是老師發下一個玩具青蛙，它會在持續原地翻滾，要求大家解釋可能躲在青蛙肚子裡面的設計，如何讓青蛙可以維持原地翻滾的行為。另外在課堂上，老師也會定期提供有獎徵答的題目，讓大家按照提供的圖表，解釋這個圖表所代表的行為。

學習的內容

為了從資料看出系統行為，從拿到資料到建立模型有一連串的程續（如下圖），老師所教的就是資料處理的概念與軟體的使用。首先是從繁雜的資訊過濾出需要的資料，通常向外界所取得的資訊並無均一的規則或是不必要的資訊太多，無法直接套用到已經建立的系統，AWK是一套單純好用的軟體，可以利用搜尋的 pattern指令，找出需要的資訊，或是重新安排資料的排列規則；下一步是將有規則的資訊做運算，課堂上主要使用SQLite，另外稍微提到 Octave能夠處理複雜運算（相當於MetLab）；最後是將運算後的結果繪製成圖表，我們使用GNplot，並且強調繪圖需要注意的細節。另外一套軟體 NetLogo，功能是將所得到的資料建立模型，進行系統行為的模擬。

期末報告是以United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)歐盟各國提供各行各業（sector）所產生溫室氣體排放量為基礎，資料時間包含從1990年到2008年，分析資料可能的有的問題或是現象，例如某國家的某產業的溫室氣體突然降為零是否提供假資料、不同溫室氣體的轉換係數（global warming potential）是否影響總量的統計。海報競賽是期末報告的形式，評分的成員包括系上教授與環境顧問公司的研究員。學期剛開始，許多人都沒有寫程式的經驗，對於期末要如何呈現更是一頭霧水，但是授課老師能夠鼓舞學生，課堂間也討論合適的教學方式與準備報告的問題，期末時同學對寫程式建立模型也不再感到害怕，最後報告同學發現許多值得注意的結果，部份題目也被顧問公司研究員帶回公司討論。

學習的心得

對於程式撰寫，這是一個很棒的開始，面對一大筆不知道該從何下手的混亂資料，現在知道該如何抽絲剝繭，分析可能的關鍵問題，並且以淺顯易懂的方式表達。此外也學習老師處理實際問題的熱情，期許自己未來的論文也能對實際問題進行研究。

Introduction of Industrial Ecology study in Netherlands 2010

Industrial Ecology is considered an unfamiliar new field in Taiwan. Up until last semester, there were zero students from Taiwan majoring in the Industrial Ecology at the Leiden University and TU Deflt. As the first Taiwanese student pursuiting the Masters in the Industrial Ecology, I would like to share my experience to help those that have an interest in studying Industrial Ecology aboard.

First, let’s start with the class dynamic. The whole class has around 15 students. Half of students are non-Dutch comprise of countries such as; Brazil, Greece, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United State. During the group projects, it is very good training to cooperate with people from different countries. Students are not only from different countries but also of different academic backgrounds, such as; Agriculture Chemistry, Archeology, Architecture, Chemistry, Industrial Design, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Four of them have full-time working experience.

Industrial Ecology is an inter-discipline field to solve the conflict between the economic development and environmental protection. The disciplines include the social science, technology innovation, and systematic thinking. It is required for Industrial Ecologists to be familiar with these fields so they can work together with professionals of different background, therefore, the first semester classes are multidisciplinary. The classes are as follows; the Introduction to Industrial Ecology, Social System - Policy Management, Fundamentals of Systems, Data, Models and Computation Thinking, Analytic Methodologies and Tools, and Renewable energy.

序工業生態學在荷蘭的學習感想

工業生態學是臺灣比較不熟悉的領域也是一門新的學問，2010年以前還沒有臺灣人在荷蘭學習這門學科，因此我想分享第一個學期在荷蘭所學習與看到的內容，有助於對此領域有興趣的人瞭解。

首先關於系上的同學，2010年秋季大約十五個學生，有一半非荷蘭籍，如巴西、希臘、瑞士、瑞典、臺灣、土耳其、英國、美國，在課堂中與不同國家的學生準備團隊報告是一個很難得的國際合作訓練。另外，大家都來自不同的背景，包括農業化學、考古學、化學、工業設計、環境科學、環境工程、機械工程。四位學生有全職的工作經驗。

工業生態學是跨領域的科學，希望能夠解決經濟發展與環境保護的衝突。學習的內容包括社會學、技術的創新、與系統性的思考。為了解決環境問題，工業生態學專家需要有各領域的知識，才能與各領域的專家合作將問題解決。因此第一個學期的課程安排包括工業生態學導論、社會系統的政策管理、電腦思考與系統資料模型理論、分析方法論與工具、再生能源。接下來將會簡介各科目的內容與學習到的心得。

What did I expected before the class
Social system and policy management is first Social Science class for the first semester. The first assignment was to talk about your expectation for the class. I don’t have a social science background therefore the first step was to know the jargon and the way of thinking from the Social Science perspective. It is also important to be able to analyze and understand the possible mechanism of the social changes.

What I learn in the class

The last day of class in Social System and Policy Management summarized the whole semester into one graph (shown above). The coordination of the society is separated into three levels; micro, meso, and macro level. Every level has the evolution mechanism. In the micro level, it focuses on the individual’s boundary rationality. Ideally, individual tends to make the optimized decision based on the evidence of the needed information. However, the decision is based on the limited information and knowledge. For example, students that are use to taking the train home because it is the fastest and cheapest way often do not expect delays. Unfortunately, they didn’t know there was construction on the railway that could cost an extra one hour more than the usual time spent. In this case, students that took the bus were able to arrive at home earlier than those that took the train. They are the variation of the case.

Meso level is the next level above the micro, and it is referred to as the coordination of organization, which is composed of individuals. In this level, the organizations are divided into four coordinate types: self-organization, self-governance, private interest government, and governance. In the case of the toxic chemical regulation in the electronic firms, the firms that developed individual regulation are called the self-organization. The group of firms that developed its regulation is called the self-governance. The group of firms following the regulation from the government is called the private interested government. The organization that develops the regulation is called the government. The reasonable and effective toxic chemical regulation would remain in the meso-level, and this is the selection mechanism.

The last level is the macro level, and it means to look at the coordination of the organizations with the time and space scale. The adaptive cycle is the mechanism to describe how the organization adapts to the change over time. (see the adaptive cycle below) Polycentric systems depict the coordination system has different central administration to operate the system. Private goods are products that are made by the companies, such as the computer and food. Public goods are products that belong to human, such as water and air. Some organization would develop similar characters, called isomorphism.

Using small laptops in the electronic company as example, consumers were more willing to buy this convenient product at the peak of its trend when first introduced to the market. The selling kept growth until it reached the maximum capacity of the society (growth to conservation). Companies maintain its demand with small improvement to the product, such as the increasing memories. However, after the competitive I-Pad/ tablet PC debut on the market, the selling capacity of the small laptop dropped significantly. Meanwhile, the diversity of the product reduced due to the lack of research found (release to reorganization). The company’s effort to improve the function of the small laptop, such as the big capacity and efficient energy management. The different special functions provided the variation of the small laptops and enable more competitive to I-pad/ tablet PC. In the research and design department of a company, the paralleled developing groups are working for the company with the separated project leaders. The leaders have their own goal for the new design and understand how to stimulate the ideas with the team (polycentric system). During the design phase, they may mimic some successful management ideas from other groups or companies, such as the standard for the design for the environment (isomorphism).

After the successful completion of this class, I am able to put on the social science glasses to look at the coordination of the society. In the process of analyzing issues, I can easily decipher which level and what the possible causes for the current result. The insight could be useful for future research. The intensive reading assignments are meant to build up our reading abilities. The short essays (see the links below) were helpful for the development of better writing skill and the understanding of the mechanism taught in class. The group project analyzed how the ecological value, strategy, and routine are shaped in the food, electricity, and consumer electronic companies. It was a good opportunity to implement the knowledge and collaborate with classmates.

社會系統的政策管理

課堂開始之前，教授要求大家寫下對於課程的期待，我沒有社會科學的背景，在這堂課裡，希望能夠瞭解社會學使用艱澀的特殊用語以及社會學思考的方式，同時也期許自己能夠分析改變組織管理（coordinate）的機制。

最後一堂課的上課內容是這學期所學的精華（如上圖），將社會分層微觀 (micro)、巨觀 (meso)、宏觀 (macro)三個層次，解釋各層次內元素互動，以及各層次之間演化的機制。微觀層次描述個人理性的極限 (boundary rationality)，理想的狀況是個人根據所需的資訊做為最佳決策的依據。然而，決策根本是根據有限的知識，無法達到鉅細靡遺的考慮。以學生認為搭乘火車回家是最方便省錢快速的方式作為例，如果沒有發生任何意外，這是最好的決定，然而當學生坐上火車才發現鐵軌正在整修，必須花上額外一個小時才會到家，搭火車便不是最好的決定。至於選擇搭公車回家的學生，今天則提早到家裏，他們代表了不同決策的多樣性。

巨觀(meso)則是下一個層次，代表組織的管理，包括四種不同形式：自我管理(self-organization)、集體約束 (self-governance)、集體接受政府管理 (private interest government)與政府 (governance)。以電子公司的毒性化學物質管理為例，公司遵守自我設定標準稱為自我管理；公司組成公會，以公會提出標準管理約束各公司稱為集體約束；公會依照政府規定管理則為另一種形式；最後為制定標準的政府。最後合理有效的毒性化學物質管理將會留下，這是代表演化理論中的選擇機制。

最後一個宏觀(macro)層次是增加時間與空間的尺度來看組織的管理。在宏觀層次的理論包括組織適應改變的循環機制(adaptive cycle)，多重中心的管理(polycentric system)，私有產品(private good)的概念（如手機、電腦），公共產品(public good)的概念（水與空氣），最後是組織會趨向相似的管理機制(isomorphism)。

以電子公司生產小筆電做為例子。在小筆電剛開流行的時候，消費者樂於購買小筆電，電子公司的小筆電銷量持續成長，最後維持在一定的最大銷量 (growth to conservation)，在最大銷量期間，公司靠著微幅的改進來維持銷售，例如增加記憶體。然而當i-Pad與平板電腦進入市場，對電子公司的小筆電銷量造成衝擊，產品的多樣性也因為暫時缺少資金研發而減少(release to reorganization)，公司大幅增加小筆電的功能試圖重新佔有市場，例如長效輕量電池的研發，期望能夠重新讓小筆電的市場增加。在電子公司的研發部門小組裡，各自不同的團隊研究依照主管的決策進行研究 (polycentric system)。在研究過程中，其他電子公司成功的設計流程將可能被模仿，例如對環境友善的設計標準 (isomorphism)。

在課程結束之後，現在我能夠分析組織管理制度的變遷，並且討論可能導致變遷的機制。因為對改變的洞察能力增加，有助於後續研究。另外在課堂學習間，大量閱讀社會科學相關的期刊，對英文閱讀能力有明顯幫助；短篇的英文寫作訓練增加英文寫作技巧，並且練習將理論運用於分析實際現況；最後小組報告的題目是分析食物、電子、電力公司的環境價值及策略，運用課堂學習的機制，並且和各國來的同學一起完成報告。

Think up two social networks of which you are currently a member. Analyze the structure of each of these networks, make clear what the dependency relationships are, and what coordinative mechanisms are used.

Student house (Herengracht 35,33)

For the international student, the accommodation is the one of the important issues before studying especially for students outside of Europe. Leiden University has the services to accommodate students. The school does not own the houses, but has the contract with the housing companies. The university collects the students’ information and the companies arrange the rooms for students according to the preferences, such as the shared room, price, and shared kitchen.

I live in the Herengracht 35 in Leiden, which is one of the international student houses. Tenants come from different continents, such as Asia, America, and Europe. There are 3 floors; every floor has two corridors and two kitchens, and one common room for the all students. The operation company is called Accommodate and they send one housekeeper in the house to help students. I would analyze the network in the building.

Tenants mainly stay in their room, but people could not close the door all day long. The kitchen is the import space for the food and relaxing. People in the same corridor tend to have more connection because they have more chances to talk with each other in the kitchen. Also, tenants used to cook together and chat about schools or gossips. It results the first linkage of the connection between students.

The common room and kitchens are the places to connect tenants from different corridors. Weekly pancake dinners, movie nights, and parties are the moment to get to know people in the house. Tenants connect each other by the nationality, habits, or the common friends. This would be the second linkage in the network. Also, sometimes tenants would invite their friends outside the building to join, and it extends the linkage in this social network. For example, friends from Spain would meet the tenant from Taiwan and become friends after dinners.

Tenants are the main actors in the network and conduct the activities. Although there is the basic rule from the contract, tenant could still create their lives in the house. The contract clearly states the responsibility for the tenant to keep the house safe and clean. All the furniture should be completed when tenant check out. It is forbidden to use the other devices for cooking in the kitchen because of safety reason. Only the tenant, who signed on the contract, has the right to stay in the room. Under these rules, any activities are allowed. I would call this part is self-organized. For instance, to hold the party is a complex process. Tenants first apply to the housekeeper. After making sure the data, they start to invite friends, prepare food, and music. After the party, tenants have to clean the house. All the behaviors are volunteering and self-motivated.

There are other minor actors in the network. Leiden University is responsible for helping student to stay. Accommodate maintains heating, lighting, and cleanness in the house by hiring the cleaner, plumber, and housekeeper. It would also represent the linkage between the people who work for the house. Other trivial actors are like delivers from TNT or DHL and the trash companies to collect the garbage in the garden.

Badminton Club in Leiden University

Students with the passion on the badminton create the badminton club in Leiden University, and they are the central actor in the system. There is a board in the club and they operate the enrollment for the new member, communicate with the other clubs, apply the courts with the sport center, and maintain the training equipments. The fee of membership supports the board’s finance, and the club is an independent organization.

The badminton courts are limited in the sport center so there is an invisible rule conducted who could play. Members are followed this rule. The principle is the equity and everyone has the same right to use the court. Also, when the game starts, the composition of the players usually is based on two factors, the nationality and the level of skills. Besides the Dutch, Chinese and Indonesia are the majority because badminton is the popular sport in Asia. People with similar skill level tend to play together because it has more fun and challenge. To sum up, the equal time usage, nationality, and skill coordinated the game.

The connection between the club and the sport center is very close. Not it is the only place to play but also the coffee’ in the center is a place for members to exchange information after the games. Members in the club build up the linkage after competitions.

The skill level of the clubs is recognized by the ranking system. The organization maintaining the ranking system seems has the chance to effect the clubs interaction due to they organize the official competitions. Members get more experiences during the games, also extend the linkage to the other club and their town, such as the badminton court, the sport shop with friendly price, and even the nice restaurant.

Sport shops provide the badminton rackets, balls, and clothes, also information about the big competition event. Club members go to the shops and find useful equipment for the games. Shop is the minor actor in the network.

[SSPM] 12/02 Interview policy makers in Kaohsiung Cityhall

Develop an operationalisation of the concept industrial ecology that can be used in a research for interviewing policy makers.

The Kaohsiung city

I would like to use Kaohsiung eco-city project as a case study to develop my assignment.

Kaohsiung area is the second largest city in south part of Taiwan. The population is 2.7 million [PopulationData] and more than one third of jobs are related in the industrial parks. The high pollution from the industries already resulted in problems for some local communities [CY Yang , Respiratory]. Also, because the city is the economic core in the south it attracts immigrant workers come from the rest of south Taiwan. Nevertheless, the growing population needs more effective policy and infrastructure to maintain the operation in the city. Otherwise, it would be too chaotic and full of problems ranging from communication, parking, and air pollution.

The Kaohsiung city government has an eco-city project in order to achieve the balance between the economic growth and the environmental protection [Project]. In the green transportation, they already set up a public bike system and operate fuel cell bus. They also support solar thermal heaters, increase the park rates in the city, and improve the energy efficiency in the industrial parks. In the current phase, they have designed the indicator to guide the eco-city strategies. In the future, they plan to become the excellent examples of the eco-city in Taiwan.

The Kaohsiung eco-city project

The project has three elements. The indicator/purple interacts with the strategies/green, and the resulted/red comes from the changes in the city.

I propose to make a question list for the policy makers in the city hall in order to understand what is their current concept of the eco-city.

Question list (the sentences in the quote are the purpose of the question in my mind)

To analyze the current situation (to realize how did the decision maker look at the city)

· How long did they plan for the project? What kind static information did they choose? Can they draw a sketch to describe the major activities in the cities? Did they visit any eco-cities in Taiwan or Asian and what did they learn from them? (What kind of analytic method do they use in order to build the eco-city?)

· Who are the team members for the project and in what kind of backgrounds do they have, such as engineers, sociologists, or scientist? How do they work together? (This question is more to ask the members in the team with the decision making power.)

· Did they consider the problem already existed in the past year or 5 years? What is the geographical border of the project? (What is the boundary they set up and why?)

· What kind of problems is hard to quantify for them and how did they describe them in the project? (What are the assumptions in the analytic methodology?)

· What are the important problems they discover in this area and how big is it compared to the others, and what is the reduction or prevention strategy?

Solutions for the city

· What are the possible solutions to achieve these goals? How do they think the solution would work ?

· To set up the indicator on the sector, transportation, business, and living, what is the goal they want to achieve by the indicators?

· For them, what does the eco-city look like? Which city they know existed is close to the ideal eco-city? What is their imagination for the eco-city?

· After 1 and 5 years, if they still stay in the Kaohsiung city, what kind of transportation, landscape, major economy in the city do they expect to achieve?

The farmer next to the Science Park Phase-3

The news is about the Science Park Phase-3 development project, the high tech industrial park is located in the middle Taiwan, governed by the Central Taiwan Science Park. Near the science park is the important rice production area, and the wastewater from the park would possible effect the quality of the rice. The development of the science park has to pass the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Environmental Committee in the Environmental Agency would make the final development decision for the EIA. I would examine the behavior of the members in the committee with the rationality and bounded rationality models.

1. Rationality model

The duty of the members in Environmental Committee is to make the final decision of the plan. They have the completely report, which is written by the experts followed the trusted standard procedures, about the economic forecast, ecological impact, and risk assessment. Also, during the EIA process the committee members would go the planned area and have different meetings with the local community, the developed companies, and the local government. The meetings would help the members approach to the particular situation of the park. This is a complete process for them to acquire all possible perspectives. In other words, the members considered themselves could make the optimize decision to decide this development plan. Finally, the decision is the conditional approval the plan.

2. Bounded rationality model

The environmental committee members made the decision by the information form the report, the field trip, and meetings. However, the future development would result some considerable changes in the current information. In the risk assessment, some new toxic chemical emission would be hard to assess because it could be the new technology and the effect on the health is still unknown. These chemical substances would accumulate in the body and strong response when the amount is over the threshold.

In the economic forecast, China has a rapid high technology park plan. This is a significant threaten for the economic benefit because China offers more attractive conditions for companies. To build a new factory would be faster in China than in Taiwan. The cost to operate is also lower in China. If the companies change their mind to build their manufactures in China, the Phase-3 development project would be a flat land in the middle Taiwan without buildings.

Therefore, the members are hard to add these future variables into the consideration. In other word, the decision is under the bounded knowledge and information, not in the optimized situation.

Q2. Describe your learning experiences with the EMS exercise.

A1. Definition is not clear for me.

I seldom have a group discuss in the class before. I am not sure how to start in the beginning of the vision and the role. What is the definition of them and in what position to think about that, in the viewpoint of boss or employee? I spent quit a lot of time understanding my questions by listening and asking other classmates. In an other word, I did not join lots of discussing. But trying to realize how to start. Because too much time on the first part, we do not have enough time to discuss the following questions.

In this department, we focus on the prices, environmental impact of the products, which we would buy from other companies. It would be a big data so we would also filter them and provide the important informations.

0842在火車站買好票，準備搭上火車，竊賊不知道用何種手法拿到我銀行的密碼，同時偷走我的錢包
0850 竊賊開始提款，達到提款上限1250歐元，接著他搭車到海牙的賭博商店，用卡片購買賭博用代幣，連續在五分鐘內提出4900歐元。計畫還沒有結束，他搭火車到比利時利用國際提款，拿走最後500歐元。結束的時間1300。

總共帳戶的損失六千六百歐元，相當於25萬台幣，也就是我半年的生活費...這個竊賊知道銀行一切的規則，甚至搭火車到比利時去提錢。

昨天已經和荷蘭的朋友到警察局做了完整的筆錄並且報案，也把報案資料交給銀行調查。接下來我會寫信給銀行，並且副本給臺灣在荷蘭辦事處、萊登大學、臺夫特大學，原因是銀行沒有在我中止卡片功能的當下告訴我這件事情，當時核對最後使用卡片是在火車站，銀行應該要負責我凍結時間點之後的損失。此外銀行沒有好的安全措施警告我或是中止不正常的提款行為。

我也會聯絡我的保險公司，協助處理這件事情，銀行說4-6週會知道結果。

星期五花了一整個下午處理，希望聖誕節之前可以有好的結果。

Oct. 14 I lost my wallet.

08:42 I bought the ticket to Delft. This guy probably watched me somewhere.

08:50 He stole my wallet from my bag and started to take money from ATM. He reached the max Euro 1250 at this moment. And then he went to Casino in Den Haag. He took Euro 300 each time from the machine, and he got around Euro 4900. This is not the end of the plan. He took the train to Belgium because he can take Euro 500 when traveling abroad. When he finished the last movement, it was 1300.

I went to the police station with dutch girl to have a clear declaration and went to bank to explain this situation. People in the bank helped me to write a report to the bank. I have to wait for 4-6 weeks for the final judgment. 50% I can get my money back.

Thing I am going to do:
1. Write a mail to Rabobank and cc to Taiwan Representation in Netherlands, Leiden, and Delft. The bank did not have a save system to protect my money because they did not tell me these money when I freeze my account. I wish the bank would feel much pressure from schools and Taiwan.
2. Open a saving account to put money there. And limit the amount of money that I can use per day.
3. Contact with my insurance company in NL. Ask them if they can help me.

[SSPM] 9/30 Nokia sustainable supply chain government & common tragedy - fish game

This time we look at a documentary about how Nokia company evaluates the working environment in a supply factory in China. The documentary was took in 2006. The director is Thomas Balmès.
The documentary is about the interaction between the auditors from Nokia and the managers from the Chinese factory. Managers in China factories tried to show their effort on how to take care the employees. However, when the auditors asked them why the working environment was so noisy, they started to give excuses. For example, the managers said they already gave the protect equipment for the workers, but the workers took off by themselves. It was not their fault. There were more this kind of response in the video.

Following two question are from the class.
Q1. Is this an effective way of diffusing sustainability criteria?
It is an effective and convenient way for Nokia to diffuse the sustainable idea in China factories because factories want to pass the audition and get the order. Using the term learn from this time, I would define it as a coercive force within the factories, the external pressure, to implement sustainable ideas into the factories. During the examination process, auditors could show their standard of sustainability to the manager, even the could pressure the managers to change the policy right away. In one scene, the auditors asked managers why the toxic compound was put next to drinking water in front of the restroom. The managers gave lots of excuses. They tried to say it would not harm the employee's health because they knew the bottles with the chemicals are dangers. The auditor followed their response and asked them if they could take the risk that workers make a mistake and drink the toxic chemical. Finally, managers could not give any reasons, and decided to put the chemicals to other place right away.

Q2. How would another governance mechanism improve on this?
Here are three different ideas.
1. Nokia could hold the annual sustainable competition in the supply factories. The winner can get the biggest order and the loser might be removed from the supply chain list. Factories have to report their sustainable performance and be proactive in order to get the more order. Due to the competition, factories have to try their best to implement the sustainable practice. (Sanction and set scope)

To get the big order from Nokia is the attractive incentive. In the first competition, factories would develop their own way. In the second competition, they can learn the first year experience from other competitors. (mimicry) If it can run in the cycle, factories can improve not only by the standard from Nokia but also from themselves. Nokia does not pay too much effort to maintain the sustainable management on supplier because of the competition among the companies.

If the supply factories do not take the competition seriously, or Nokia did not show seriously, the positive improvement cycle may be not happened. For example, Nokia only look at the report and not check the real implement in the factories, it would become the competition of writing report, not the real sustainable practice.

2. In order to improve the worker’s welfare, the employees from the supply factories can send their opinions to Nokia. The feedback from the workers would give the factories significant pressure to be proactive to deal with the welfare. In order the get less complain, the factory would try their best to practice to take care the employees.

3. Nokia can send the people from the sustainable department in Nokia to the factories to monitor the sustainable practice and give suggestion to the factories. This would be more direct and expectable than the other two solutions. But Nokia has to send their people around China and put lots of effort on the sustainable development of the supply chain. On the same day, we play a sustainable fish game!

Rules:
1. 51 fishes in the sea and they would double each time.
2. Five fishers should figure out some mechanism to use resource sustainably and get the most profit.
Result:
All the fisher took all the fish and the authority took lots of time to make decision but still hard to government all the fisher.

Observation/ conclusion
It is like a small size of the international negotiation because students comes from different countries and have their own goal to win the game. The fighting is always on how many fishes fishers should get each time. It is like what happen in COP15, countries consider their own best benefit and fight for that. In the class fishers try their best to get the most fish for themselves. Because there is one fish left every time, fishers are hard to decide who can get it. We decide to have a authority to decide the fair number of fish each time. However, people do not always follow the decision from the authority. The situation become more complicated because the authority has to think the fair strategy to make this situation more fare and sustainable. Otherwise, if fishers keep taking fish out of the sea without considering the future, it is very easy to run out of them in several rounds.

It takes much time to form the agreement and implement it. Also, the agreement need to adopt new situation soon because the result of each round are not followed the rules. In the final round, we run out of the fishes, although we already have a clear sustainable plan. I assume the reason is we do not have efficient/scared punishment for the bad fisher. Also, if we can alarm the signal of run-out fish earlier and fishers are afraid of breaking the agreement, it still has chance to live longer or even sustainable. I would take this, strict rule and early awareness, in my mind!

荷蘭單車地圖剖析

前一陣子到鹿特丹旅遊，和遊客中心的服務人員聊得很開心，看到他們有賣『單車專用地圖』，忍不住就拿起來翻翻看，首先價格有點讓我吃驚，實在有點貴...，荷蘭在這半年啟用了新的單車道系統（fietserbond），對我而言這條單車道系統很實用，不太會迷路。

單車地圖圖例裡面的內容很豐富（雜），但是會想要用到的資訊大概都可以在裡面找到，單車停車場、景點、美術館等等，其中我覺得最棒的是按照各不同功能區塊分顏色，在規劃路線的時候就更容易按照想要看的點來安排。最後一張圖綠色的部份就是單車道，密密麻麻，臺灣友人看到應該恨得牙癢癢吧＠＠不過他們的單車道是混合式，有專用道、也有僅以分隔線隔開的道路，因為荷蘭實在太平了！單車使用率高，才有這樣驚人的發展，唯一可惜的地方就是單車規劃路線的網站是荷蘭文阿...

另外這張地圖是鹿特丹的旅遊地圖，可以在遊客中心購買，或是在藝術街、YH免費索取，這張是目前我看過很讚的地圖，因為建築物辨識度很高，對照建築物就可以知道自己的位置，另外地圖也按照各區的特色標示，找起來很容易，可以作為地圖設計的參考摟。

Q: Think up a SES in which you are an active part and which has a public good character. Describe the different elements as defined by Ostrom. Also define the stage of the adaptive cycle in which the SES currently is in.

In order to answer the questions, I would recall some notes from the courses.

1. Social-ecological systems (SES) : The system includes four sub-levels (resources units, resources system, governance system, and user), outside settings (social, economic, and political settings), and related ecosystems.

2. Adaptive cycle: it can be defined in four stages - conservation, release, reorganization, and growth. Good explain from Video
Def. connectedness/control : the degree of system to control itself and the resistance to external variation
Def. capital/potential/wealth : the ecological, social, economic capitals

Example of the adaptive cycle: The succession of a forest:
r -> k
Individual species and the diversity of species would increase. ( Population of species increase -> capital up; diversity increase -> connectedness decrease)
k -> Omega
The limitation factor limited grow and reduce the capacity, ex the forest is burning, or the forest is infected by the virus. (the population decrease - capital down; diversity of species still stay in a situation - connectedness keeps the same)
Omega -> Alpha
Species start to find their way to adapt new environment. (diversity would decrease due to the species, which can not adopt the environmental change - connectedness decrease; total population would grow - capita increase)
Alpha -> r
Connect to previous stage, some species would find the way to survive. Some would be died. Diversity keep the same. After the system is stable the connectedness and capital would start to grow up again. (Population down)

Case study – Shimen Reservoir Management:
The case I chose is the management of the Shimen Reservoir in Taiwan. The reservoir is located in the remote mountain with the high biodiversity. These place is original owned by the aboriginal, and until now some of them still live there.
In 2004 the strong typhoon destroyed Taiwan, the total participate in three days were above 1700 mm. The soil can not absorb the significant amount of water, and go with the rain into the dam. The slurry flowed into the dam made the waterworkrs could not deal with the water. Citizens in the downstream can not get clean water for half month. Therefore, government started a plan to prevent the same story happen. The water management agent, who is responsible for the reservoir, considered to build more small dams in the mountain would be an effective solution.
Before starting Industrial Ecology program, I worked in the ecological consultant and checked the ecological effect when they planned to build the small dams. My company collected and analyzed the ecological information in the reservoir area for the government. I played a observation role in this SES.

Define the actors:
Governance system: related government agents, ex Soil and Water Conservation Bureau, Water Resource Agent, local government, and Forestry Bureau
User: people live in the reservoir, tourists, and construction companies
Resource system: mountains in the reservoirs
Resource units: water, plants, and animals in this mountains

Before the government paid attention on the reservoir (2004), people burned or cut the forest to culture the tea or bamboo. Although there were some laws to restrict these activities, the monitor agent did not practice its duty well. When the forest disappeared the habitat for the creatures was also gone. At that time the number of the rare animals and plants kept decreasing. At this moment, the ecosystem at in the k -> Omega phase due to losing the richness in the mountain.
After 2004 Government restricted the development in the mountain so people can not burn the forest. At the same time, the forest agent retrieved the land from the local in the reservoir. The strategies were successful for the ecological system because the populations for the rare species increased. The ecosystem is at the r -> k phase.

Q1. 1st impression on social science on industrial ecology, how to relate with earlier experiences? And introduce my self with post card.

Social science is an other tool to see how industrial ecology work in human society. I expect in this perspective I can observe more detail interaction between the activities in this field. The tools would be mechanisms and frameworks, which are the knowledge that I seldom or never study before. I would try to read all the reference and pay attention on my understanding.

My previous background is Agriculture Chemistry, which is more related to chemistry and biology. I have also work in the ecological consultant firm. During the work period, I realized many decision causes lots of problems and conflicts in Taiwan. Such as there is no enough lands for the industrial development. Government take strongly the productive farm or high biodiversity area for industries. There are many mechanisms in social science to look at these issues. I expect I could explain them and try to give some alternative suggestions.

My postcard is a handsome chicken. I like this one because it is like a simple to tell societies to implement industrial ecology thoughts. I would like to be the one of this chicken with my classmates.

Q2. IE - inspired puzzles and three perspective explanations

Puzzles : I am always face the problems of Netherlands rail train was delayed 15 mins. I always think what is going on.

1. Weather : The season is fall. Too much leaves lay on the switch so it can not work well. (Or the snow can cause the same problem.)

2. Rush hour : Too many people are in the train so it takes more time for entering and leaving the train in the stations.

3. Machines : Some engine problems are in the train so it can not speed up. (Or any other mechanical problems.)

4. Human troubles : The driver's watch delayed for 15 mins.

該是分享一些在荷蘭待了三週的單車心得。上課要通勤兩地，選擇上火車不用另外付費的折疊車，因為價格不斐（一般來說大概要三萬台幣...，好不容易找到八千台幣以內的車...）花了不少時間找單車，上週才買車，也才開始啪啪走，別怪我為什麼這麼晚寫文章阿...

荷蘭單車專用道觀察 - 1 (fietspad in NL)

1. 線上規劃路線系統，以號碼作為記號，像是藏寶圖告訴使用者，下一個寶藏要到哪裡找

2. 不同類型的單車道混搭（我覺得有因地制宜的趨勢），需要專用道通常是在轉彎或是高速通勤的單車道。市區車速不快，所以單車道則是在轉彎處多，有特別的左轉道。

3. 單車道上指標系統清楚，至少我可以沿著單車道走上二十公里，在不會荷蘭文的狀況下還不會迷路

4. 路面平穩：我所遇到的鋪面，在住宅區內的單車道，因為需要降低車速，不少都是使用磚塊，讓駕駛開在顛坡的路上降低速度，對單車也有同樣的效果。

5. 沒有大型障礙物阻擋在單車道上，推測因為沒有太多的機車。臺灣單車道上路障主要擋的是機車，這裡機車與單車視為同一類，路障也就小了。

6. 多數通勤單車道與火車鐵軌或是重要省道平行，就跨城市通勤是很方便，也不容易迷路，另外這裡真的很平，騎起來算是很順，會影響騎乘的因素就是逆風與大雨的障礙。回頭看家鄉，沿著基隆河也有一段很平的單車道合適通勤，大約三十公里可以往返台北基隆市區，風景也是超棒，障礙就是地形起伏。

8. 部份地區有單車專用號置，不過還沒有確定和行人的號誌到底差在哪裡呢？？室友德國人的見解是單車號誌優先，單車起步快，有很大的彈性與自由可以決定要怎麼走，再來是起步速度慢的行人號誌

總結來說，市區車速不快地區，各種車輛一起始用窄窄的車道，轉彎處有單車專用的空間與號誌，行人則是一定有沒有遮雨的人行道。市區往郊區方向出現單車專用道連接，此處車速加快。郊區就像是河邊公園的專用道

幾件特別的發現

＊游泳池裡面，快速水道的速度超快阿～都快跟不上

＊學校沒有游泳池，是和別人一起分享使用，有限定特定時間，一天約一小時...（沒有辦法晨泳了...）

＊不知道為什麼，人好多阿，擠在25公尺的游泳池

＊泳池的深度很夠，大概有160公分和3公尺，各佔一半的空間

＊更衣間設計很省空間，換完衣服之後，打開門就會看到另一側的更衣間，中間就是給大家掛衣服

＊水很清，我真的有嚇到，可能是因為使用時間短，所以泳池裡面的水很透明，消毒水的味道也很淡

＊很多穿比基尼游泳的好身材歐洲人XD

My folding bike in Netherlands

Dear all,

I am going to tell the story of my bike! This is the second week in Netherlands. I spent lots of time walking to the train station and different department. I also count on it on google. The result is quit amazing. I walk for 8 KM per day. I told myself it is the time to buy my bike! After some introduction from my friends about the bike price in netherlands, a high quality second hand bike is around 150 to 200. What are they like? You can see the following photos. The price is really high and I have never seen it before.

Did you get it? These bikes have some special equipment: light(self-charged) and inner shifter. I guess this is the reason why it is expensive.

However, my program is in Delft and Leiden. It would be better to by a bike that can be carried on the train without charge.(Train company charge the bike 6 euro per time.) That's right - a folding bike would be a wonderful option. So how about the price? Normal one is around 700 euro. Crazy! It could be a excellent folding bike from Taiwan. I kept searching on the streets and website(Dutch language...). Finally, I found a good bargain 199 euro with 6 external shifter. The boss said the bike would arrival next week... 萊登古城
經過一個星期的摸索，對於萊登大學與舊城區總算有些概念與清楚的印象。萊登舊城區內清一色都是舊建築，這裡的建築物可是從西元十三世紀就開始使用了！因為還沒有單車，每天走在如詩般的萊登古城，甚至是住在其中一棟古老的宿舍裡，一切就像是在童話故事般夢幻。住在這裡沒有階級（薪水）不同造成明顯的隔離（可能是因為大家平均薪水都很高XD），觀察到許多不同等級的車子會一起停在同一座停車場，今天就看到法拉利跑車隔壁停的是一輛車齡十年的舊型箱型車，我猜這原因可能來自於荷蘭政府對於人民居住權利的保障摟。

＊舊城建築物改裝萊登古城區域內沒有突兀的建築，沒有新的建築物在古城內，常常看見的就是鷹架搭在牆外進行整修，或是在牆內進行大肆整修！我想這除了對舊時代的尊重與歷史記憶的保留，同時也減少蓋新房子對於環境所造成的影響，這樣處理的優點除了減少蓋新房子所需要的原料，也不需處理舊房子的垃圾！這兩者加起來所造成的資源消耗很可怕...。因為宿舍旁邊剛好有看到整修的房子，每天早上慢跑就看到高大的荷蘭人背著工具上工，剎那間回想到臺灣工地的景象，不知道是不是錯覺，好像第一個出現在工地的人是東南亞來的勞工，臺灣人在工地出現的數量似乎越來越少...，是因為年輕人（如我），開始都不吃苦頭了嗎？

＊市民對於園藝的熱愛古城內隨處可見家家戶戶對於自己家裏四周的景觀維護，該怎麼說呢？萊登古城就像是坐落在花園裡的一座城市，處處讓人驚奇！其中印象深刻的一幕是在今天傍晚晚餐後的散步，在宿舍附近的一座橋邊，一位住在河邊的婦人正悠閒地在照顧她小小的花園，園子不大就在運河旁邊，除了花圃擺上幾張舒適的椅子，阿＠＠，好想去坐在那裡發呆阿！好讚的感覺，看著金黃色的陽光照在附近高聳的屋頂與樹木，天色漸漸暗下來，今天整天在外面奔波的辛勞好像也就被一陣一陣的風給帶走

＊充滿運河與單車的城市另外城市內單車是很重要的交通工具！可能是因為鋪面都是磚頭，加上到處都是岔路口與跨越運河的小橋，單車的速度不快，加上行人最大，走在馬路上汽車必須等行人通過後才能夠繼續行駛，萊登小鎮的節奏變得非常怡人，哎呀！腳踏車還沒有買下來，因為之後會通勤萊登與臺夫特，所以買一台上火車不用另外付車票的折疊車似乎勢在必行，但是價格與車子遭竊還是讓我怯步的兩個原因，讓我心理上準備好，再開始單車生活摟。
因為出生在基隆，忍不住會給自己一個期許希望以後可以有艘小船可以載著家人與單車一同到世界各地旅行，現在眼前就是一條又一條的運河，這裡離夢想好近阿！萊登是僅次於阿姆斯特丹的第二大運河城市，每天下午運河上的船越來越多，而且什麼樣的人都有！有小妹妹掌舵全家人一起出遊散步，有放著搖滾樂載著寵物一起在小船上搖晃，也有一群學生帶著沙發躺在船上悠哉閒晃，好心動阿，找時間調查一下，怎麼樣才有機會在運河裡駕船。

＊荷蘭人對於樹木的熱愛Undutchable(荷蘭不唬爛) 裡面關於荷蘭人喜愛與尊重樹木的故事讓我印象深刻，裡面提到因為樹木染病可能要被砍閥，市民為了悼念老樹，引起其他市民關注更讓政府花上更多資源請樹木醫生來照顧，難怪在這裡常常看到不少大樹，說真的！可以看到大樹的心情是非常平靜、平穩，那...台北市是不是因為缺少太多樹木的原因，反而使整個城市變得更加不穩定呢...多尊重樹木吧！愛惜樹木肯定有好報。因為在萊登這裡空氣好、噪音少、車禍少、治安好。

關於中醫拍打的論證氣血的旋律_王唯工

最近王唯工老師出了新出-氣血的旋律，裡面提到了更多實驗的數據說明氣的樂章裡面的論點，在樂章一書中最重要的概念就是-共振，藉由心臟推動主動脈產生振動，振動的位能將血液分配到不同的臟器，人體的心臟便是運用這樣的方式來調控身體的循環，此概念可以解釋中醫的理論。

新書延續之前的論點，以感冒（病毒入侵）、高血壓等病症的脈相更進一步驗證樂章中的論點。

新書的最後則提到了許多人好奇的問題，其中一樣就是拍打的治療如何以共振來解釋，就我所能夠理解的邏輯，拍打四肢、頭部（尤其是關節的部份），可能可以增加三焦經（上（頭部）、中（軀幹）、下焦（腰部到腳））的能量，增加有什麼好處呢？三焦經是第一道身體對抗外部病毒的防線，當病毒來了，身體的反應是把原本負責打擊病毒的三焦經的能量分配給內臟的經絡，保護內臟不要受到病毒感染，所以三焦經就虛了。此時，藉由外界拍打的力量，以及拍打部位的紅腫，可以改變（猜測可以增加）三焦經絡能量，身體有更多能量可以來打擊病毒，就會更健康了！

王唯工老師的書真的很特別，很有說服力！很推薦大家！

　　行政院東部聯合服務中心舉辦九十八年花東地區中央單位首長聯席會報，四日上午在花蓮郵局六樓簡報室舉行，由執行長高揚昇主持。高揚昇說，蘇花公路山區路段（蘇澳到崇德）改善計畫期末報告，預定年底提出，如果順利通過環評審查，希望能於明年動工。　　交通部運輸研究所運輸計畫組研究員張舜淵，在聯席會報上報告「花蓮地區交通運輸整體規劃及相關計畫執行情形」。　　高揚昇在張舜淵報告結束後說，東部地區是台灣最重要的觀光旅遊地區之一，要發展觀光旅遊產業，就要打通東部地區的對外交通，根據東服中心向花縣十八歲以上民眾所做的問卷普查結果指出，有百分之九十三點七二的人贊成興建蘇花高速公路，蘇花高速公路的名稱現在改為蘇花公路山區路段（蘇澳到崇德）改善計畫，也就是蘇花高速公路替代路線（即蘇花替），這項計畫的期末報告預定於今年底提出，如順利通過環評審查，希望能於明年動工。同時，也希望交通部公路總局在拓寬改善東部濱海公路、花東公路時，能同時闢設自行車道。　　張舜淵說明，蘇花公路山區路段（蘇澳到崇德）改善計畫，已經行政院同意，已於九十八年「蘇花公路改善計畫」項下編列預算○‧三億元辦理先期作業，目前辦理可行性評估作業中，預定於民國九十九年到一○六年辦理完成；另外，在民國一百年十月前，台灣鐵路管理局購置的太魯閣號車廂將全部交車完畢。　　張舜淵表示，政府原計畫興建蘇花高速公路，因受輿論及環評尚有意見影響，恐難持續推動辦理，為順應東部民意，提供一條「安全回家的路」，於是檢討蘇花公路山區路段（蘇澳到崇德）改善，長度約七十四公里，由交通部公路總局執行，這項計畫已經行政院同意，已於九十八年「蘇花公路改善計畫」項下編列預算○‧三億元辦理先期作業，目前辦理可行性評估作業中，預定於九十九年到一○六年辦理完成。　　聯席會報還聽取太魯閣國家公園管理處的「太魯閣國家公園峽谷遊憩安全管理及應變措施執行情形」、及花縣府「花蓮地區觀光產業整體行銷策略」專案報告。

屁股傷！

屁股受傷
從去年十二月初一直到現在，身體狀況一直都不是在最佳狀態，這陣子運動量也是非常少，原因就是屁股受傷。

受傷的原因就是長時間的坐姿，去年那一陣子的生活，為了準備考試所以花很多時間都做在位置上準備，做完模擬考之後，放鬆的活動就是繼續坐在位置上看電影，連續兩三週下來，在堅強的屁股和腰部肌肉也沒有辦法承受這樣的壓力。這段時間裡到處尋訪復健診所治療，那種不舒服的症狀是從來沒有過，一開始很擔心（現在還是會怕怕的），不會好或是一旦很容易復發不就不用運動了嗎？

環保局提供了很棒的電影服務，放上將近二十片的免費電影在中華電信 HiChannal 電影，電影包括企鵝寶貝、蝴蝶、寶島曼波、種樹的男人等等，幾乎每部電影都不錯，但是，但是，為什麼政府部門做事都要讓人加但書抱怨一下呢？

前兩天正在看寶島曼波，很棒的一部紀錄片，內容關於建築師與九二一災民一起規劃重建的故事，深刻刻劃政府部門與民間溝通的困境與現況，寫實的擺在眼前。政府突然更變設計圖江戶坡水泥加高，不按照計畫施工，這一幕是我看到最有感觸的地方，明明都已經談好的內容與計畫，白紙黑字清清楚楚，但是在最後發包時候的更變，卻還是只有政府單位自己知道，片中更變的內容是新建築物底下的墊高工程，利用擋土牆將原本的坡面提高，施工過程反而讓地基變得不穩，嚴重影響住戶安全。當我看的正津津有味，意外片子終止。原本片長兩個半小時的片子，竟然就停在八十三分鐘，原本以為可能是中華電信的問題，請中華電信的小姐幫忙查，結果得到的回應竟然試片商只提供一半的內容…我該說些什麼呢？打電話去和環保局抱怨嗎？查了其他幾部片子，沒有遇到這樣的狀況，到底中間過程是怎麼回事？環保局部能做事這麼粗糙吧！

一、感謝台端對環境的關心，有關「EPA環保頻道」影片，為應大量民眾收視需求，同時開放多台伺服器，以供民眾隨意點選收視，對於台端收看「寶島曼波」影片，無法完整播放乙事，經廠商多日追查原因，發現其中一台伺服器投遞之「寶島曼波」影片檔案，有部分受到損壞，以致無法完整播放，已於98年7月3日請合作廠商更換新檔案，該影片全數檔案，皆已恢復完整收看。
二、為避免類似情況再發生，已責成廠商負起監播責任，以確保民眾收視品質，對廠商客服單位不當回覆台端之客訴問題，已請廠商所屬單位，追究責任，並依規定進行懲處，造成台端之困擾，敬請見諒！後續將要求廠商客服單位，加強「EPA環保頻道」之技術及知識等教育訓練。

結果經由反應之後，總算是可以看完整部片！網站上還更新了其他新的紀錄片，還不錯，大家有空的話就上去支持一下吧！好看又免費的電影。

How it works

They claim the time of the exchange battery is faster than traditional gas or oil station, and it spends about 70 seconds. There is no worry about when it rains or not because you use oil which is more easy to burn in the city than battery.

The car company if they set a standard of the form of battery. Then it would promote this event to be true faster.

You can buy kilometer per charge or monthly fee. You would buy the car but not battery. I am curious if I drove to some place without chargers, how the company help me?

An other question, if you tell me the new device help us live without oil, you live with batteries...

故宮常設展

每次最吸引我的都是秦漢時候的作品，喜歡的原因是一方面這時後有比較多的立體作品，秦漢以後許多都是書畫，一方面是我很喜歡刻在作品上重複精緻的圖案。

It is a great place, National Palace Museum, especially on Saturday night. They offer the free music concert, fee entrance fee after 1700, and excellent art performance. Last weekend I went there and stayed to 2200!

No doubt, National Palace Museum is the perfect place where I can realize my own culture. Every time when I have a choice to visit a unfamiliar nation or country, I must visit there museum. I like to discover the culture difference between others and my home town. I love the sculptures in destiny of Chin and Han. These wonderful antiquities have great dedication on the surface which I like so much.

The music concerts are also great! They call them, when Young meet antiquities. Not only the performers are so professional, but also they pick up great songs. I enjoy that moment a lot.

Why not plan to visit there on this weekend? This is the most important reason why I write this article! Cheers.

This is a skype phone which is very easy to use. After setting the account and wireless router, open it and it works.(You don't need to open your computer.) However, even it awards a IF award in 2006. I do not agree it is a good skype phone, even more I will not advice you to buy it. Here is some disadvantages:

The battery is only used about 7 hours based on my experience. 很耗電，使用約七小時就需要充電
Skyphone is FAT... 手機很大隻
You can not adjust the font size. The older can not see the word easily.字體太小不可以改
There is fast button to call a specific contact. (You can set contacts with 1XXX, 2OOO, and 3ooo.)沒有快速鍵
If your ph0ne has some problem, it takes 2 weeks to fix it. It is so long... Also, after using it for 7 days, the 4 button become insensitive and hard to press. 修理的工作天是兩週。
You can not search the contact list. 沒有通訊錄的搜尋功能

I am facinate with it for many years because it is set up by the local people and I think it will use less power and more flexible power usage than the government set up. At the same time, if you have a fon, you can use the Fon in the world. It is WORTHY, even it is popular in Europe.

At first, I was hesitated if I really want to buy fon because the device seemed hard to set up. In fact, it is very east to set up. It contains two signal, Fon_ and MyPlace_. Fon_ is for public. You can set the speed and your friend to use it.

從基隆趕到台北，在客運上，期待能看見全球對於氣候變遷的調適，氣候變遷會議，看起來離自己真的很遙遠，別人在會場做些什麼，波茲南這場會議的結論不是很有影響力、很具體，所以大家的看法如何？哪些人去參與呢？抱著期待的心情參加這場活動，希望能夠為整天都泡在gre單字大海裡的我有所啟發

我所聽到的第一場是關於森林的碳補償，台大森林所畢業、在德國森林領域研究所畢業的林思吟學姐講的內容，在京都議定書架構下，cdm、redd是大量排放二氧化碳國家補償的方式，觀察此一補償機制的發展，主講人提到的在中國大陸協助森林補償認證的經驗，許多企業的錢並不一定真的能夠可以到達地方，層層的剝削中，當偏遠地方的人民無法得到足夠的補助，原本的放牧機經濟活動也不能進行的狀況下，當地人要如何面對此次衝擊？在此制度下會有碳洩漏的問題

最近實在是有點受不了，改趕緊提著屁股離開電腦面前，網路上實在是有太多資訊可以閱讀，但是一天只有二十四小時，靈魂之窗更只有兩個，原本沒有近視，最近發現實在是越來越受不了這種長時間閱讀的日子，上網搜尋保護眼睛的方法，大陸有在推廣眼保操，有沒有學理根據呢？我是覺得可以參考看看，在眼睛四週做些運動可以真的可以讓眼睛舒服些，試試看吧！

微笑單車上路

Today I was extremely expected to attend this activities! This bike activities's spirit is based on the critical mass, which means the largest volume of the bikes on the road. If the road is full of the bikes, car drivers, government, and any one will know there is a huge group on the road and their right of the road can not be neglected.

The sponsor set a check list today. We would ride pass a circle, a shop, a road, a station, and a park to exam its bike friendly degree in this whole year.

1. 敦化南北路
I love this road full of trees and there will be a bike route very soon! But we found there are some cars parked on the bike lane. Sign~ This is the intermediate. I am so curious about what the other two problems.
a. There will be lots of cars on the road after the elementary schools(敦化國小，復興國小). How to deal with the conflict between the cars parking on the bike route and the cyclist riding on the route at the same time.
b. The design of bus stop is not good base on my view point. The cyclists have to stop behind the bus and after the bus leave then we can pass bus station. Why not design a special path behind the stop? I really can not understand...

2.敦化圓環
We ride 5 times on this circle! Crazy! Each circle we have to stop for 4 times and to protect our lungs we will stop in front of the scooters. Sorry! But there are really more and more people ride on the road.

3.科技大樓捷運站
Too much bikes but not enough parking space!

4.復興南路單車店
Friendly. If you are not buy your bike there, this shop will still do their best to help you.

5.鳳雛公園
Their is a tap in this park but some trees are moved to here and they are tall without much leaves.

Heart Breaking Day

Today I make a decision not to apply industrial ecology program in Leiden, http://www.industrialecology.nl/. It is so hard to me to make this decision. This is a great graduated program hold by three famous university in Netherlands, Leiden, Delft, and Eramus. Some Professors are the world-leading researchers. Also, Netherlands government takes actions to face the sustainable issues, which means there will be lots of projects to achieve their goals. The companies response to these, too. These are the reasons for me to apply. However, when I consider about the finance part, the monthly spend needs NTD 34000 and tuition fee is NTD 76,0000 per year. If I apply it, I have to think how to deal with NTD 200,0000. I have check the scholorships but it is rare and really hard to apply.

Every time when I think it takes so much money to study abroad, I would become frustrate. Today I also tell the professors not to write the recommendations. I am so shame... Why am I not to consider clearly then ask them to do that?

Frustrated...

But it is useless to be gloomy.

I will be concentrated on memorizing the GRE words again tomorrow.

Keelung Public Library

It has been a long time not to go to the public library in Keelung city. Today my cousin and I went there and applyed for the borrow card. I taught her how to apply it and how to borrow a book which is already known its names. I think she love to read but without a good environment and encouragement. There are good seriers of books about the differet country in the world with comic. I recommended her to read them. I hope she will like them.

I also borrow some book about Netherlands, which is a really open mind country. You can see sundry races, different countries' food, and the innovation ideas. Cradle to cradle is a pouplar new word there. Netherlands has less land and resources. They have to deal environmental issues with effective ways. If the waste can be the nutrition of the new product, what a wonderful dream about C2C! Also there are some good groups focus on bicycle's issue, such as communicate system, cyclist's right and bicycle culture. If I have money and time, I must want to stay there for a longer travel.

I felt frustrated in these days because I lost my goal and I do not have enough faith to prepare study abroad. It bothers my so many times. I forgot the ways I used to overcome this blue mood.

"Is this really hard for me? In a life-long scale, this is only one bottleneck of it! This is nothing only if you can not insist on it. Do not say impossible. Try it, and leave something after hard working. Work as much as I think."

Environmental management

Today my aunt told me I could post my dream about the environmental management on the Internet, maybe one day someone can have the interaction with me, and also I can practice my poor writing in English.

What I want to learn is the environmental management, especially on the industrial ecology part and landscape design.

What I know about the industrial ecology contains life cycle analysis(LCA), green chemistry, cradle to cradle(C2C) and clean production. LCA is the tool to analysis the product or target to understand from the beginning to the end of it. Calculate the procedure's effect on the environment, such as energy consume, or carbon dioxide production. Green chemistry, C2C and clean production are the environmental friendly ways of the production.

Landscape design is my interested, too. Based on my experience to communicate in Taipei city. The good transportation is really important for citizens. To provide a stable and efficient public transportation can reduce the cars and scooters usage. Also I am interested on the decision of the landscape development. Environmental system analysis tools can provide a rational indicator for the police. Such as the decision of East High Way, 湖山水庫, 國光石化 and lots of development are base on the environmental effect reports, which provide qualitative not the quantitative information.

This is my beginning of English article. I will try my best to improve my writing and tell more stories in English and any suggestions and comment are welcome!

Tomorrow is the first work day after the Chinese new year. I will start on my GRE preparation and keep find the jobs.^^

寒冷的冬天

今天就要回台北了，結束二十四天的旅程

最特別的是在新竹迷路，不過卻經歷了一場演習，在路上，直昇機、機槍、大砲的聲音，非常清楚，突然搞不懂該不會是太久沒注意新聞，中共趁機登陸了嗎？低沈的大砲聲音，真的非常嚇人。

先繞上了鶯歌，在老街裡逛了一陣，接上縣道，進入台北縣，熟悉卻又陌生的感覺又出現，高樓大廈，夜裡的都市，明亮路燈，四線的馬路，百貨公司，我們單車的身影，屬於城市嗎？為什麼還是有一點格格不入的感覺，感謝保育社的夥伴，接到我們要回來的消息，特地在學校等了我們好一陣子，為了一起聽聽我們這段路的故事，呼～台灣，我愛台灣的多變

遊記打了這麼長，都不知道該說些什麼，唯一想跟大家說的，請珍惜身邊的所有家人朋友，有機會的話，騎著單車，臺灣真的是很棒，值得用心體會！

早上離開前，剛好遇到斐琛的拔拔要去上班，和他討論了最佳路線之後，一路就朝新竹過去了，整個旅行理最艱辛的一段路，從台中要直接殺到新竹，今天出發時間九點。

今天的路線主要以台十三線為主，途中會經過台中縣、苗栗縣、新竹縣、最後抵達新竹市，一直騎一直騎一直騎，禹竹問我現在會不會想要找個地方把車直接給寄回去，我想這都是最後一段旅程，縱使辛苦，也想完成它。印象最深刻的一段路，就時剛剛離開台中，看到了苗栗火炎山，台十三線就沿著火炎山旁，高架橋就一路向上翻過山丘的稜線，起初還開心的從不同角度去拍火炎山，拍到沒有新意之後，才又正式上路，才發現開始吃苦頭，除了坡陡，更麻煩的是風向是逆風，一路上完全沒有可以休息的地方，就一直往上爬爬爬，大約有十公里左右的路，都是逆風情形前行！我們唯一的中繼站是在抵達三義前，路上的警察局，補充水分之後繼續上路（警察還送了香蕉，他怎麼知道我們騎到快要抽筋了，果真是人民保母，為民服務的好警察！），三義則是雕刻出名的地方，許多刻功精細的品在這裡都看的到，不過最令人期待，抵達三義的高點，就開始一路一直滑到苗栗市，下坡爽拉！

剛出苗栗天就黑了，在便利商店稍微休息之後就要繼續趕路，新竹縣出現了檳榔西施，聊天話題突然就談到了，究竟該是怎麼樣的檳榔帥哥，才會有女雇主上門？就這樣東扯西扯，禹竹車速也越來越快，非得加速死命才跟的上，中間有段迷路的地方，特地停下來找了漂亮薄紗的檳榔西施問清楚，同時幫助醒腦！

一直到晚上十點左右才抵達新竹，金城飛的家裡，熱情的款待，謝謝金城飛的家人！

原本預計今天就要離開台中，不知怎麼的＞＜，又興起想多在台中走走的念頭，睡到自然醒，原本奢侈希望可以有台中地陪，因為太習慣延後行程，唉，地陪也飛了…….，自己來歸劃看看要如何一日遊台中（對了今天也是延後行程的一天）。

東海大學，第一個去拜訪的台中景點，學校就建在山坡上，令人印象深刻的就是學校裡的建築，文理大道和學校的教堂都讓我大吃一驚，低矮的建築是文理大道的風格，四合院，中間都自成一個廣場，能夠讓心情寧靜的設計，沿著大道，底端是學校的圖書館，學校的教堂，則是在一片草地上，設計師很巧妙的利用鏡子反射教堂的兩面大牆，拱形的教堂，因為光線折射一年四季都會有不一樣的造型，很可惜時間不對無法進去參觀，不過這樣特別的拱形，還有反射出來的光，真的讓人印象難忘，也不知道是什麼特別的原因，慢慢在校園裡走著，東海夜市，東海牧場，不經意都走過一圈。

晚上到市區走走，原本還想騎著腳踏車過去，天空突然降下吃驚的大雨，就改搭公車進入市區，想去看看傳說中會有街頭藝人會是神奇展品的二十號倉庫，運氣很好，沒有開…..那裡的三媽臭臭鍋讓我印象深刻，不是因為它的食材新鮮與否，而是經營的兩個店長都非常年輕，應該三十歲以內，而且已經有一個在幼稚園讀書的小朋友，在店裡跑來跑去，我勒，再過幾年我有多少能力可以照顧一個家庭，再多些勇氣，還有毅力。

回到家裡，已經非常晚，大概十一點左右，斐琛的妹妹還沒有睡（應該是等我們等到這個時候了），謝謝你！幫我們張羅了中餐晚餐，晚上還要特地把我們從大門接回去，當然還有要等很久的洗衣服。

鹿港旅遊

今天預計推進的目標是抵達台中的斐琛家裡，大概距離三十公里左右。起床見到容光煥發的君安，和之前每天早上都是睡不飽，被硬挖起床的精神完全不能相提並論，坐在餐桌上，今天要將之前所有花費做總結，暗示著某些依依不捨．．．．．．白天的時間到彰化有名的鹿港去瞧瞧。原本的計畫由君安開車出遊（拿到駕照時間今年七月的樣子），不過經過昨天的試開，還是臨時決定請君安麻麻帶著我們一起出發，從彰化市到鹿港，沿途經過許多木材加工的店，許多家具神桌的集散地，坐在車上，景物不斷向後移動．．．．．

在鹿港，玉珍齋，高級好吃的餅店，很推杏仁口味類似一口酥的食物，整個嘴巴裡都是滿滿杏仁的味道，讚拉！鹿港有名的北港媽祖廟，以及當時成裡的特殊建築風格，成為鹿港吸引觀光客前來的原因，當鹿港尚未淤積前，是臺灣距離大陸最近的口岸之一，商船、戶物進出臺灣大陸都是由鹿港，所以地位在當時非常重要，人口也逐漸聚集，二次大戰後，濁水溪帶來的泥沙淤積使港口已經無法繼續使用，鹿港經濟又逐漸蕭條。鹿港的媽祖廟，就是因為當時許多船隻往來，因此香火非常興盛。九曲巷：當時放置在鹿港城中，因為其彎曲的特色所以使面對港口的強烈海風不容易直接進房舍重中，是當時鹿港曾經為港口的證據之一、龍山寺：整修中，鋼筋鐵絲將整個廟宇給架起來、北港媽祖廟：整建完成，變的非常新，有點懷疑這樣只把古味保留在建築結構上，那有怎麼樣能讓我這個外行人感受到廟宇的歷史、辜家大樓：當時的豪宅，建築結構中西合璧，雕塑豪華、意樓：九曲巷中防守功能的結構。另外在離開九曲巷，我們還遇到了一位穿旗袍的老奶奶，好像導覽員一樣，悠哉的站在巷子口，好奇的問我們下一站要到哪裡去，幽雅的為我們指向那個方向。另外，今天也特別請到專業解說員，君安小姐特別解說，以上所有資料都來自當時解說的記憶。

離開鹿港，回到彰化市，已經是下午的時間，整理好行李，跑去郵局一趟，把一些不會用到的東西寄回台北，在木瓜牛奶大王與炸年糕的陪伴下，雨中告別君安與彰化市。順著大路，進入台中市，一路上看到的又是連綿不絕的汽車展示場、高架橋、家具店，似乎省道上看見的風景都已經被固定住，一個城市活力與特色的來源的培養，千萬別因為走在省道上就壞了整體大印象，沿途路過強恕（籃球有名）、道明高中（也有明道），騎在大馬路上，這裡反而沒有很危險的壓迫感，只是和原本預估抵達斐琛家裡的時間越來越近，我們卻突然迷了路，在台中似乎某些鄉道線道，是不會被特別標示出來，想要問路更不可能直接問說“請問縣道一零二是哪一條？”該怎麼走？當地人不會去注意這些地方阿！東鑽西鑽，過了中港路（全名是台中港路，知道全名當下還蠻詫異，不是兩個字個古地名嗎？怎麼突然變成一個這麼實在的地名），天色已經大暗，緩慢用力行走，總算抵達今日目的地斐琛家裡。

尋找斐琛家的路上，彎進巷子裡，看到一間非常神奇的魯味店，怎麼樣都想不到，這位仁兄竟然是將自己的跑車（一哥滷味），法拉利跑車直接拿來當作店面，食物就放在車位上，我的天！真的是太神奇了吧！進入巷子裡的十字路口，今天的疲倦，在見到熱情的斐琛之後，消除了大半，雖然不斷被無情的冷笑話攻擊，毫無招架能力，將自己笨重的行李，帶上樓。晚上，又是幸福能大吃大喝的一夜：目標逢甲夜市！

進入斐琛的家裡，全家超和樂的感覺，謝謝斐琛麻麻幫我們準備好的水果，在上班日的時間還跑過來打擾你們，萬分抱歉，臺灣西部在暑假結束開學之後都很難找到學校，所以就竭盡所能找樁腳借宿一晚，謝謝你們！前往夜市，和斐琛爸爸的聊天印象非常深刻，從四十歲之後，開始接觸爬高山，並且不斷找時間，有機會就帶全家一起到郊外走走，能夠全家一起出遊的時間真的非常難得！逢甲夜市，我所見過神奇食物最多的地方，許多神奇的食物都是僅此一家，別無分號，不過東西味道都比較重一些，反正對於吃我真的沒有特別要求。在台中也順便拜訪了幾位朋友，都過不錯，共勉之航向未知的未來。

早上起床，阿公阿罵的熱情又讓我們非常感動，早上天還沒亮大概四點多左右廚房就傳來煮飯的聲音，天阿！阿罵起床了，已經在準備豪華的早餐。

打點完早餐，第一站竹竹爺爺的農田，爺爺很興奮，希望我們可以一起去它的田裡走一遭。那是在省道附近的田，整個田都還是青綠色，爺爺希望可以對農田裡的稻子苗做些記錄，似乎是有點生病，中間的部分發育比較不良，我的經驗還不成熟看不太出來，不過在那裡幫大家照了不錯的合照。

重新回到大馬路上，依舊陽光普照的天氣，原本希望早上五六點出發，現在已經是七點多了，一路悠哉向北駛，今天是要到彰化去，突然感傷起來，君安這幾天就要和我們分開，難得回到臺灣，結果花了大半暑假的時間和我們在一起，回到家麻麻就很希望她可以準備下學期會用到的東西，還有拜訪很久不見的親戚，說起來真的有點感傷，一旦分離之後下次見面又不知到是什麼時間，什麼樣的身份。撇開這個不談，禹竹和我開始無聊的開始算起我們這趟旅程裡所經歷過的一些有趣的事情。

每個地點都留下清晰的身影，原本對於環島的期待，從非常奢侈天馬行功的想要得到一些什麼，現在內心底對於這個問題又有另外的解答，下次再經過，心中所激起激盪。不管是和誰，能一起完成夢想，每次總是能讓心頭稍微緊一下，不是強烈熱情的感覺，卻可以淡淡想起來可以微笑入睡的感覺。謝謝在所有路上曾經和我一起走過的朋友們，不管你們現在何處，我的內心底知道，因為和你相處過，只要你有心，專心，一定能夠達成目標。

　　思緒回到單車旅行上，到彰化的省道，一路上非常順利，沒有特別困難的地形，平坦的西部，只要不要往山區過去，對體力的負荷都還是可以接受。抵達彰化市，君安的家裡，看到一輛醒目的新車，君安瞬間就在那個當下停了下來，散發出一種肅然起敬的感覺，該不會．．．．，裡面的人就是久仰大名的君安媽媽？
　　果然沒錯，從駕駛座裡走下一位穿著典雅的女性，領著我們將身上的行囊都卸下，帶著微微酸痛的大腿，我們將出發到到彰化八卦山上，彰化是的後花園，感受一下眺望都市的感覺。八卦山的地理位置非常特別，剛好是在都市的高點上，處處都有很好的視野，山腳下就是彰化市，非常平坦，工業化的程度也沒有非常嚴重。走在八卦山上，今天騎車的路線，雖然不是非常操的行程，但是要平穩走在八卦山上還是有點困難，連續幾日來，每天大約九十公里左右的份量，疲勞累積在身體上，真的有點累了。晚餐是在一間很特別的家常菜名字是下午茶，特別在老闆對於食材要求非常嚴格，而且店裡也非常乾淨，我還沒有看那過哪一間餐廳的老闆，竟然可以打赤腳在餐廳還有廚房之間跑來跑去，除了這裡！我們大約是七點多左右抵達，因為店裡生意太好加上老闆對於品質的要求，，可以點的菜已經不多，值得推薦的好吃餐廳。另外在君安家裡，也滿足了好好補充水果的小小願望。

｢對從沒有去過的雲林，記憶就像白紙，很高興今天發生的事留下漂亮的回憶｣

今天的行程很短，從嘉義市到雲林北港。從家裡獲得乾淨香噴噴的衣服，昨天大雨的灰塵、疲憊，在今天都一掃而空，舒服的晚上，謝謝你們！重新上路，縣道159的北港路上，出乎意料之外，竟然又出現顛陂的路面，像是剛剛被機器狠很刮下一層皮，記憶瞬間被帶回到台東那次可怕的越野回憶，那次整整花七個小時才離開那段十四公里的路，難道檳榔花環島隊的命運，就是要不斷接受這些突如其來的挑戰嗎？趕緊換到附近平行的替代道路，才順利抵達北港朝天宮。

在朝天宮廟前，竹竹（禹竹爺爺是這麼稱呼她）爺爺見面的｢How Are YOU?｣，還有竹竹眼神裡放出來對爺爺關愛的眼神，看著爺爺和竹竹的背影，親情就是可以這麼近在一起！對這種感覺很不會描述，不過竹竹爺爺是很喜歡騎機車到處晃的感覺，基隆家裡爺爺也剛好有這種習慣，每天一大早就會特別喜歡騎著機車在基隆的各大市場來回穿梭，爺爺的背影是很堅毅很強壯，不過想要騎著單車一起走在路上的機會似乎不太可能。

到了家裡，慈祥的阿罵早已等候多時，等不及想看看我們這幾個已經在外面漂泊許久的小鬼頭（從台北出發到現在，我們將抵達的時間延後了不下五次，老人家應該是超級緊張），招呼我們趕緊把東西放好，享用她精心準備辦桌等級的料理，真的很厲害的煮飯功力！下午的步調也很慵懶，打盹完，慢慢晃到朝天宮，整修中的朝天宮看起來並不是平易近人，鋼絲鋼條將整個廟宇懸吊起來，某些構造卻可以因此看的更加清楚，樑柱卡榫設計、精細的石雕木雕、以及一幅清代留下來的書法都讓我印象深刻，致偉此時也剛好在嘉義，我們一起逛了北港糖廠，廠區裡沒有大型機具運作的感覺，倉庫、鐵軌都向是被凍結在那個時間裡，發現一棵樹上掛滿蕃薯的臘腸樹，非洲引進的樹種，臺灣還蠻少見，不是非常漂亮，但是很有異國風。傍晚最後在河堤上慢慢散步，北港是安靜的小鎮。

回到家裡，又是一頓非常豐盛的晚餐，飯後大家應該都把這十幾天減少的體重都一口氣補回來，謝謝你們的熱情，不過真的太豐盛了！晚上獨自一個人睡在和室裡，靜靜回想著這一段旅程……

記憶拉回到台南，離開雪怪家裡，當天早餐記憶依然清楚是桑椹果醬，果粒的滋味仍然深深刻在腦海裡。前往成大，君安帶路，曾經來過一次這裡，對於成大，她似乎有另一份更深的感情，在記憶深處。不論如何，還是到成大裡去看看吧！沒有去過的學校，對我總是有很深的吸引力，校區很大，被馬路給切割成五個部分，隔在校區與校區間的馬路，對學生的上下課一定造成些不便，進出需要注意路上的行車，走進成大，發覺成大裡的樹木，年紀也不小，樹形也都非常幽雅，當然還包括最有名的國泰人壽大樹。成大榕園種植許多榕樹，榕園附近營造出小公園的氣氛，附近有水池，燦爛盛開的鳳凰木，繞榕園一圈，如果我是學校學生，眼前的美景又有多少次能夠靜下好好欣賞（好好珍惜學校的美！）。

而昨天晚上道地的台南小吃之旅，讓我們又決定將行程往後沿一天，多得到一個上午．能在台南市多參觀些不同地方，明天再前往北港。所以離開成大後，第二站，孔廟到了，她的位置是在前臺灣總督府（現在已經改為臺灣文學館）的正後方，孔廟裡是一大群爺爺奶奶在練劍，和高雄孔廟相比，風格差異大，高雄孔廟進門，映入眼簾是大型廣場，這種寬廣卻是帶來的卻是壓迫感；台南孔廟，廣場則是有草有木的庭園設計，紅色圍牆繞成了一個正方形，，孔廟就座落在裡面，｢全台首學｣（西元一六六一年建）幾個大字就清清楚楚放在入口。歷史課本的知識得到印證，清代學生孜孜不倦，培育臺灣本土的人才，由此處作為發源地，經過三百多年後，現代臺灣教育更加進步，文盲比例已經非常低，各領域優秀人才不斷竄出，秉著這份氣勢與傳承，應該更要多花些心思在課業上，孔廟建築結構倒不如高雄豪華，但是結構細部，以及當時留下來的禮器展示，讓孔廟看起來更有古味，走過展覽廳，逐漸能感受到當時環境和想法，與現在的差異實在非常大，電腦、網路在當時根本就不存在，也沒有人會想到科技進步，可以使資訊交流如此便利，利用網路可以即時和地球另一端的人聯絡，如果學校或是地方上的官員犯了什麼是馬上就可以寄e-mail和天子秉告，那個國家的天子犯了什麼錯，全世界的人都很容易得到資訊。除了科技上差異，清代人花更多心力，專注於古典書籍的理解，細細將其讀透，和現在每天必須消化需多新資訊、新科技的情況有很大的不同！廟裡肅穆的氣氛仍然不斷的維持著。

離開孔廟，往文學館移動，富麗堂皇的建築充滿霸氣，文學館是台南市剛修築完成的古蹟，讓古蹟活化，一樓的展示大廳裡擺放重新整建的資料，以及臺灣文學的發展，特殊的格局，豪華的設計，裡面的資料在時間不夠的壓迫下，只好把細細瀏覽的機會留給下一次，不過這裡真的可以看到日本設計的優秀工藝。離開台南市區，前往七股鹽山，那是一段遙遠路程，本日騎乘單車似乎特別費力，路線是必須不斷的向海邊移動，一直到盡頭，看見白色禿起的小山丘，鹽田才總算到了。走上鹽田，才瞭解假日時，觀光人潮肯定相當洶擁，原本雪白的山頭，已經是灰頭土臉，附近則是不少鹽田的設施，一壟又一壟的曬鹽場，觀光用濃度極高的鹽水游泳池，離開曬鹽場，台鹽博物館就在附近，門票實在是太貴，只好作罷，佳里派出所就是在鹽田附近，在那裡遇到好警察，多聊了一些故事，才離開。在冬季時，黑面琵鷺過境，七股也是極佳的賞鳥地點，不過在佳里海濱是沒有遮蔽物，冬天應該非常冷吧！

路線朝向嘉義，熱心的佳里警察，除了提供我們較短的路線規劃，還熱情了提供我們礦泉水，太感激了，一路沿著縣道，朝著嘉義的水上直奔過去，路過麻豆時，適逢柚子採收期，一路上東挑西選，選定一家路邊攤兼營賣柚子的店，品嚐今年第一顆麻豆文旦，只是價格上一斤五十元，根據吃了不少次文旦的經驗，五十元一斤，怎麼看都不太懂為什麼如此之貴阿？在麻豆的產地，該不會是被坑！亦或是特別好吃？善良友善的台南人．應該不會這麼狠心對待辛苦過來的外地客吧！品嚐的結果是品質普通，每個果肉都是飽滿，也不會很酸，但是味道就差一點，跟那時在花蓮奇美吃的文旦相比，那裡的文旦反而多了一份柚子的感覺，稍微澀澀但是又能表現出文旦的特色，這家的文旦真的太貴了！

離開柚子店，繼續往東邊移動，天空黑壓壓一片，待會勢必是一場風雨交加的雷陣雨，晚餐白河蓮子大餐只得取消，行程預估是在傍晚抵達白河，吃完大餐之後，悠哉騎夜路到嘉義市，萬萬沒注意到天氣，一旦下大雨還有誰會想要繞這麼遠，帶著濕答答的身體特地去吃一頓不知道好不好吃的當地菜，當下車頭一甩接上台一線省道，直接奔向距離還有二十五公里遠的嘉義市，現在時間下午四點半，雨一陣一陣飄下來，開始用力大聲唱歌，抵抗大雨所帶來的煩悶，心情似乎逐漸好些，大雨真的打亂步調，還要花更多力氣抵抗大雨的寒冷，聽我唱歌吧！或許你們就會覺得很受不了，想要騎快點閃開我，那麼您就中計了，全體速度因為我的大聲嘶吼，竟然因此上升，我的心情也越唱越好，用力唱歌真的可以排解心中苦悶。

途中有路過觀光用的蓮花池，林鳳營牛奶加工廠，還有一間又一間的汽車維修公司，過了北回歸線地標，今年春假，寒假茂林結束也來過這裡，不過當時的那群人，還有心情和現在相比又是另一次難忘回憶，六點左右進入嘉義市，每個人幾乎都是全身發抖，肚子能量快要擠乾的狀況，熊熊一個大招牌，嘉義噴水雞肉飯，不管三七二十一先去吃點食物，繼續走下去會失溫！和老闆盧到讓我們在餐廳的大門口，邊邊的小矮牆上解決晚餐，裡面的空調對剛剛淋完大雨，騎了六十公里路程的人來說，實在太殘忍，還很有可能體力喪失因此感冒！

離開噴水雞肉飯，叔叔特地從家裡出來，接我們到家裡去，溫暖的床還有舒適的衛浴設備，一下子就把剛剛吃飽的趕路鬥志耗盡，可愛弟弟妹妹對我的誘惑，已經遠遠不如床對我的致命吸引力，早早上床休息，另外兩位大姊姊，則辛苦的照顧弟弟妹妹（被小朋友纏住），身兼保母好朋友之職，辛苦你們了！先睡了我的好友。

早上五點起床，天還矇矇亮，感覺是如幻似夢，不知道為什麼會有這樣的感覺？或許很有家的味道，在高雄真的把體力又重新加滿，隨時可以以上路。在高雄這幾天，深刻的感受到伯父伯母都是都市叢林中，深藏不漏的高人，伯父是超強的開車技術、驚人的ＤＩＹ能力，伯母是燒菜不用油的養生烹調，讚拉！對了，今天也是君安生日，檳榔花單車環島隊反光條上，我們留下了祝福！

出發，今天目標抵達台南市，有了林園工業區的經驗，特地準備口罩，在高雄騎單車，如果沒有戴口罩，過濾掉工廠的廢氣，不小心吸入一定對身體傷害很大！一路上，仍然是充滿機車，出了市區，仍又是工廠林立，味全、力大、等等，開始出現食品方面的工廠，還有其他不同功能的工廠，大家騎的速度不一，沿著台一線，我們大步向前行！即使現在的天氣又發生了一點小小變化，天空已經不再是前十幾天大好的陽光，絲絲小雨不斷出現。

沿路上出現高鐵站，這個已經吵了很多年的工程，借了有史以來最大的金額，來蓋這一條從台北到高雄高速的鐵路，遠遠望過去，綠油油的田，高鐵站很突兀就出現在那裡，從下面經過，原本是要處理禹竹已經爆炸的凉鞋，經過上山下海的折磨，涼鞋終究不支倒地，鞋帶噴出來無法榜註腳，在附近的傳統市場解決鞋子的問題，想不到卻意外找到高雄橋頭糖廠，本來也只是想單純去吃冰，“到糖廠怎麼不能不吃冰呢？“，就為了這個理由，我們捨棄了原本計畫要去參觀的奇美博物館，考量時間並不夠能充足的觀看完作品，決定在橋頭待下來，看看糖廠裡面是不是真的有什麼有去的東西？在橋頭糖廠剛好有一群文史工作者，在這裡駐村，把他們的作品，在各個舊的房舍中展示，在日式的房舍中，有的完整、有的傾倒，許多大榕樹、竹林、巨大的蓄水池，渾然天成的良好藝術創作的場所，對於藝術表演的發想很有幫助，看到整建中的工作室，希望他們整理順利，糖廠特殊的文化也能保留下來。中午則停在摩斯慶生，Well，這是我第一次進摩斯，東西真的很小，圖片看起來似乎還蠻精緻的，好不好吃則又見仁見智，我個人覺得普普拉！

騎在西部，台一線上，真的沒有什麼令人讚嘆的自然風景，不斷說服隊友選鄉間小路，不過還是失敗了，因為兩旁不斷出現的是修車廠、汽車展示場、各式各樣展示場路上大概都已經出現過，風景很單調，騎著騎著精神力逐漸消耗，但是一定要提一下路上的警察局，謝謝你們！高雄的水似乎是真的不太能直接飲用，因為路上有看到不少加水站，為了節省開銷，每次進警局，警察伯伯都會熱心提供他們的杯水讓我們使用！感謝你們，辛苦了。

傍晚，抵達台南市，在新樓醫院，君安膝蓋的傷口正式拆線，太神奇的恢復能力！傷口經過數天的修養，已經幾乎復原了！今天晚上是借宿雪怪的家裡，晚上就由雪怪拔拔率領夜市大軍，進攻台南城：周氏蝦捲、白北魚羹、豆花、棺材版、鱔魚麵、擔仔麵….，非常豐盛的晚餐！謝謝你們熱情照顧我們這群繞了台灣大半圈的髒小孩！（當天晚上最感到抱歉，因為下雨的關係，所以全身濕透，雪怪一家人等我們都洗過身子之後才一起去吃飯，雪怪麻麻拔拔都還沒洗，就先帶我們進軍台南城，真的很謝謝他們的照顧！）

現在在高雄的親戚家，昨天晚上和伯母聊天，才知道原來伯母得了一種怪病，發病時間大概只有十分鐘左右，可是症狀很嚴重，一旦發病就會突然昏倒，發病過程是覺得有點不舒服之後，接著腦筋就會沒有意識，整個人就會癱軟下來，許多醫生檢查過，但是都查不出病因(我想可能是都沒有在發病的時候看到症狀，只有看到昏倒的樣子….)，最可怕的經驗是發生在高速公路上，突然覺得快要昏倒，在快速的車流中，幾乎沒有人知道車子裡，發生了什麼事？逐漸減速，無意識的靠向路肩，沒有人能來幫忙，左右都是高速的汽車，方向盤逐漸右偏，在意識消除前盡量靠路肩，在這個當下如果真的被撞倒，後果不堪設想！所以伯母很早就退出職場，專職在家，現在和伯父一起做解說義工。

今天古蹟之旅，高雄的開發歷史很早，和台南距離很近，在清朝以前可能就有人定居，第一站抵達左營的東門，根據伯父的說法，高雄的觀光建設非常積極，而且不斷翻修改進，我們去的東門，在一個月前還是眷村，許多第一代到台灣的移民，借住在東門牆外緣，搭起簡陋的房舍，背面就是古城牆，前門就是大馬路，利用這個環境起家，現在政府將土地取回，逐漸將原本舊古城的樣貌翻修、復原，當然他們也就只能在找新居所；第二站蓮池潭，充滿無數廟宇、龍虎塔、高雄孔廟也在其中，在舊城國小內還有最早期孔廟遺址，古城北門也在這裡，伯父引導我們看門牌，義民巷、舊城巷在同一條路上，背後隱藏的是早期跟隨國民政府來台的一群人，他們的故事就藏在一間一間的房舍裡，舊碼頭的遺跡也在北門旁的土地公廟旁，因為泥沙淤積，現在已經完全看不到任何港口的蛛絲馬跡。左營是早期重要的碼頭，船隻可以直接開到左營城，與內陸交通方便，自然成為重要港口，當時左營人口很多，但聽說日本人開縱貫公路，路線剛好通過左營大龜（風水上）的脖子，而把左營的命脈打斷了，自此左營一直沒有辦法發展起來。下一站戰爭與和平紀念館，地點高雄忠烈祠，天氣在這個時候已經變很差，下起大雨，雨中參觀忠烈祠，反而添加更多當時戰況艱辛的感受，忠烈祠裡放了很多革命時期的老照片，看著看著，時空瞬間被拉到那個場景，碰、碰、碰，搭~搭~搭~搭，我們今天就是要攻進北京城，同志們上阿！打到萬惡的共匪，光耀我們的祖國

我胡鬧了。

和平與戰爭紀念館就在忠烈祠外面，那是一棟剛剛開放的展覽廳，一樓是陳列當時戰爭的故事，動態影片展示，戰況資料詳盡的海報，更清楚描繪出抗戰當時人民慘痛的生活，二樓，則是視野極佳的地方，三面落地窗，高雄市區一覽無遺。高雄港的腹地，和基隆港相比差異很大，基隆四周環山，小丘陵連綿不覺，市區重要對外聯絡道路，中山高速公路筆直的沿著港口指向台北，其他道路就是通往金山淡水，或是宜蘭福隆方向，相較於高雄廣大的腹地，港口就有工業區，市區也有臨海工業區，基隆真的比較適合觀光路線，基隆原本就是美麗的山城海港，沒有重工業基礎，只有繁忙的商業活動，若硬要發展成國際級大港，大量的吞吐量，帶來大量的貨車在市區運行，反而破壞基隆原有的優勢，反觀高雄港，作為重工業原料，大量商品進出的港口反而相當適合。

離開紀念館，下一站知武館，日本在統治臺灣時，興建劍道練習場所，榻榻米地板，神劍闖江湖裡劍道館的擺設，鎮館之劍就放在大門口的正對面、護甲、禮器、木劍、草鞋等等就都放在道館裡，感覺就像真的到日本去參觀，當下很想就找人來體驗一下日本武士道精神，來把竹劍練劍吧！接著是伯父伯母主要服務的英國大使館，一棟紅色造型對稱的洋房，位在中山大學旁的山上，俯瞰台灣海峽與高雄港船隻的進出，我喜歡英使館的環境，海邊的峙高點，建築特色中西合併，裡面格局也很精緻，地下室還有空間狹小專給犯人的監獄，當時還有臺灣鳥人--斯文豪（外國人，早期來臺灣時發現許多臺灣特有生物，如斯文豪氏赤蛙、斯文豪氏蝸牛、臺灣藍鵲、帝雉）的特展以及全省美展的優秀作品展示。英使館歷經多次的翻修，近幾年才整修完成，這裡經營模式和高雄孔廟相同，政府都是以ＢＯＴ方式交給廠商經營，政府提供場地由業者維護，館內裝潢很簡潔，沒有過度的鋪陳，值得過來看一趟，仔細看看英國人在臺灣的痕跡。

最後一站，高雄觀光碼頭（好像是十三號碼頭），看到一艘孤伶伶但是裝飾華麗的船，但船上幾乎沒有人，好像是愛之船吧？可能是時間點不對，一個乘客都沒有的情形下他仍要發船，好浪費能源！碼頭的硬體設施很美，晚上去感覺很棒！晚餐，是伯母特地準備的大骨湯，超好喝，早早睡，明天希望可以順利抵達台南。

（這是最後幾天在一起騎車了～～泣）

住在屏東山海的鴻海餐廳走廊，昨天晚上下了一場大雨。半夜，突然下起小雨，正是最好眠的時候，小雨又逐漸變大．使得原本睡的地方完全沒有辦法繼續住了！時間大概是在一、兩點，半睡半醒中，緊急換了一個地方休息，家當蚊帳、枕頭、衣服全都換了地方，重新整理了一塊空地版出來，當一切整理就緒，又花了一些時間，很快就睡著了，然而睡眠時間一旦被打斷，起床比預定的時間又晚了不少，家！真的是需要屋頂，需要可以安穩的感覺，家同時也會使你沒有後顧之憂！

今日路程長度是非常難得，西部的旅行，往後應該天天都在破單日騎乘最高里程的紀錄，每天騎的份量大約一百公里，今天挑戰九十公里，不過都是平路，壓迫感也就小了一些。前往車城，名產就在大馬路旁，沿著台一線，一直到枋寮，釋迦、黑金剛、洋蔥、甚至是五路財神廟！不斷的在路上出現，大部分這類臺灣農產品需求就來自於此！路上同時遇到另外兩支單車隊，似乎都是台大的學生（由單車上的腳踏車證判定），沒有多聊很多，因為他們在趕路……，而且其中一隊是一個人，騎著學校的校園車，低著頭就不斷往前衝過去，另外一隊，每台車上都掛著斗笠，非常有趣，有些人直接用彈性繩把自己的行李綁死在貨架上，這樣很省，就不用在另外愁馬鞍袋，非常聰明！斷斷續續和他們一起騎到高雄就分散了。

離開車城前，路上，隔著樹林的就是大海，這段大海，又和東部不相同，稍微帶一點土色的藍，山也不是僅僅就緊挨著海邊，還隔著海有一段很長的距離，空氣依舊很新鮮舒服，也適合單車的感覺，不過當離開屏東東港，進入高雄市！感覺就……

雙園大橋，就橫跨在高屏溪上，橋下還是傳統農業，但橋的另一端是滿滿的煙囪，那裡就是傳說中的林園工業區，工業區給我的印象非常深刻，滿滿都是工廠，化工廠林立，工廠廢氣不斷冒出來，白白的煙給人非常強大的壓迫感，在北部基隆宜蘭長大的我，還沒有如此接近工業城，進入林園的第一印象就是充滿臭味，幾乎都是閉氣在騎車，石化廠、煉油廠給人的壓迫感真的非常強烈，只是這些產品往往是生活中無法避免使用，拉高價格吧！讓消費者更珍惜使用，減少過渡浪費。再往前騎，還遇到了臺灣鼎鼎有名的遊艇造船廠，見視到正在興建遊艇的豪華。進入高雄市區，遇上臨海工業區，走在沿海路上，越靠近市區，越是穿梭在車海之間，機車和腳踏車就緊挨著在慢車道上，只要一不注意，旁邊就是一台機車呼嘯而過！險象環生，一點都不友善設計，有些工廠的煙，斯！斯！斯！用力的噴，毫不遮掩，再言語都無法描述高雄環境、人、工廠的關係有多麼不協調，一路就被驚慫的煙、可怕的機車，驚嚇到凱旋路，路上親切的紅帽阿伯，也就是傳說中的親戚，我非常大膽的聯絡了未曾謀面的親戚，今天晚上就在他們家打擾了。

伯父伯母以前也都在工廠上班，大半時間都和工廠為伍，或許這就是高雄許多家庭的寫照，現在兒女都到外地工作，看到我們，就像是兒女回家，非常熱情的招待。伯母特地幫我們準備晚餐，技術真的一級棒，幾乎每道菜都沒有放油，很健康的烹調方法，而且幾乎餐餐都是清盤，不會有廚餘，實在是太棒了！離開蘭嶼後，在充滿重工業的高雄，我們找到了一個調適、能庇護的地方。伯父提出了建議，如果我們有時間，他很樂意帶我們到左營去走走，簡單的行程討論，最後決定當然就多留下一天，高雄之旅就在明天。另外，今天的九十公里，還蠻順利結束的，對於日後行程規劃有很大的幫助阿！希望大家明天都別鐵腿（因為肌肉使用過渡而造成的肌肉酸痛，無法正常活動小腿）了！

早上起床，今天又是不小心拿了第一名，阿花沒有出現，獨自一個人往海邊走走，古老圖騰大船靜靜停在海邊，鼻子挺挺的，帶著自信的表情面對大海，我也跟著做起一樣的動作，看著海，整個心情可以完全放鬆，我喜歡這種感覺，遇到一位海邊曬船的阿伯，非常細心把自己的船整理乾淨，看到阿婆趕著小黑豬，不少人也喜歡早起，聊天、散步，今天的天空，特別陽光。

早上，一起到氣象站，這裡幾乎是整個蘭嶼的最高點，從野銀過去，需要翻過很陡的山坡，慢慢走上山坡，享受欣賞東西兩岸的幸福，海平線在遠處幾乎和天際線融在一起，山也特別翠綠，因為還很早，山的陰影，把山襯托的更有感覺，更立體，我完全被這般景緻吸引，遠離臺灣塵囂，在這裡，看到寧靜安詳，山竟然可以這麼貼近，海竟然可以這麼自然，人和自然在蘭嶼融合在一起和諧共處。

依依不捨離開氣象站，收拾好行囊，今天就要離開了，對蘭嶼的環境、還有人，一定讓我永難忘懷，謝謝你們的照顧。緩步向蘭嶼西邊前行，心中想著馬上就要重新踏上環島的正式旅程，在抵達開元港前，進了郵局一趟，東寫西寫，想說些什麼，把信寄給了雅嵐（暑假影響我最深的人之一），在朗島國小停留了一陣子，校設有不少學生作品，感覺很親切，也是蘭嶼教育最好學校。

抵達港口，一種莫名的感覺，好像有不久前才剛剛下船，現在在短短時間裡，竟然又要又要再回去了，賓拉登和鄰居有特地跑到港口來和我們餞別，再次謝謝他們。船上有點搖，風浪很大，一上船，工作人員就把全部的人都趕進船艙裡，不少拿著相機大砲的人怎麼可能會錯過這個機會，當然還是偷偷溜到外面，剛好有一位很漂亮的學生也在船上，就成了他們的模特兒，喀擦、喀擦，原本他們是來拍珠光鳳蝶，現在…..，在接近傍晚的時候，船經過墾丁的最南端，是很新鮮的感受，在船上經過，臺灣的東西兩岸，也同時拍到這張照片，另一個角度看臺灣，抵達港口，原本以為是在後壁港，大約六公里就可以到車城，騎了很久才發現，後壁湖港和後壁港完全不同，最後騎夜路，住在山水的一家餐廳走廊，感謝鴻海餐廳！，

早起，走路到處晃晃，這次是想到野銀的高點去俯瞰野銀村，鄰居小花（狗）也跟過來，慢慢爬上高點，附近民房屋頂也出現山羊的蹤跡，想不到，這裡竟然可以看到山羊和民房共存的畫面，和小花一起看著升起的太陽，對今天的行程又充滿期待。

今日行程：天池、南部蘭嶼

早上跟著賓拉登帶的團體，一起登天池，君安勇敢選擇挑戰自己的身體狀況，膝蓋的傷感覺狀況還ＯＫ。在出發之前一直被再三叮嚀水要帶夠，路上不好走，穿涼鞋更要小心，感覺是場硬仗阿～到天池的路上，植被感覺已經是熱帶環境，植株每棵都很巨大，只是剛開始道路上植被破壞嚴重，紅土直接裸露，雨天的時候應該沒有辦法走！路上斷斷續續零星步道混著裸露紅土，一直到離開步道，路更陡，神秘感在這裡出現，叢林裡面的路，要不斷的上切、下爬、拉繩索，才有機會繼續往前邁進，路程很刺激，不過老妹蹣跚步伐，君安不太聽使喚的右膝，真的有點讓我心驚膽戰。抵達天池，第一眼感覺彷彿某次夢境，充滿枯枝的湖邊，很原始的一個湖。一大群人就在湖邊東張西望，剛到湖邊其實也不知道要做什麼？檳榔花中的禹竹漸漸往湖裡面走過去！該不會是想下去游泳吧！恩～～～她下水了！好奉陪！兩個人就在天池裡游泳，天池其實不深，大概一點三公尺，底下是很深一層的泥巴，踩起來觸感很好，很舒服。離開天池，下山的路上看到桶胸蓨（不知道怎麼寫），是一種很大的竹節蟲，大概是我見過最大的一種，很悠哉的就掛在樹梢上睡午覺。離開天池，回去的行程是到海邊洗冷泉，說冷泉不知道是否正確，因為是山上流下來的泉水，可能其中一段變成地下伏流，在出海口的地方才又跑出來，即使陽光威力驚人，我還真的有點擋不住這種冷泉的溫度，剛開始進去的時候還真的會全身發抖，吃不消這山上來的沁涼，在靠近出海口的地方找到一股不知從何而來的暖流（該不會是上游有人正在ＸＤ），靜靜的就在哪裡享受！

下午幫妹妹確定回家的方法，後天她就要開學了，一定要想辦法送她回去阿！到黑妞那裡借了電腦，花很久的時間和老妹爭執，究竟什麼樣的方法才是最好，當然和他爭沒有什麼用處！不是我要回去阿，決定權在她身上。一直到下午三點左右，才開始下午的行程，往南邊未知的地方去探險。

騎著單車往南邊騎，可以看到小蘭嶼，風景更不一樣的地方，地形更加崎嶇，奇形怪狀的石頭到處都有，海的感覺更是雄偉、遼闊，我們速度依舊緩慢，任海風吹過，在核廢場的附近我們看到一位海邊的男人，在和大海搏鬥，在浪打上來的時候，他就鼓起他的大網，在最佳的時機衝上前去，灑開大網，這個過程是很驚險的，站在珊瑚礁岩上是不太容易的事情，如果要再上面奔跑追浪就更加困難，更何況還要抵擋大浪的攻擊，人與大自然搏鬥的最佳寫照。

最後一站青青草原，我們從一個怪手挖出來的道路進去，原本沒有任何期待，因為下午的目標就是在南邊慢慢玩，看到這裡才進去，走進裡面才發現這片草原真的很廣，滿滿都是牧草植物，緊鄰著大海，還能聽到大海的聲音，看到峭壁景觀，我們很幸運，剛好可以在日落的時候抵達，聽說天氣狀況好的時候，這裡的日落風景是島上數一數二，站在草原的頂端，今天的雲層比較厚，但這不代表這樣的晚霞並不美麗，靜靜的看著西邊的蘭嶼，天空逐漸變暗，是一種安靜的感覺填滿心中。

回到家裡，神奇的事情，晚餐竟然煮好了，賓拉登的表弟特地幫我們準備了白菜生薑水餃湯，很特別的味道，因為很辣！我們跑去看教會所放的影片，應該是很早期關於蘭嶼的電影，紀錄了慶典的場景，頭髮舞、打仗時的舞，還有更早以前島上的風光，是很特殊的經驗，晚上喝著雞湯，和附近的鄰居，親朋好友們告別，隔天就要離開蘭嶼，希望大家能過的平安健康。

昨天晚上，沒有玩的很晚，只是覺得有點不放心所以就比較晚睡，讓三個女生都睡在屋子裡，我和賓拉登兩個人就睡在外面的涼台，睡涼台的感覺很棒，海風就直接吹到涼台裡面，毫無保留風就直接灌進身體裡，爽阿！

早上起床的時候，怎麼樣也料不到，把我吵起來的是公雞就在耳邊叫床，咕咕咕～，最原始的早晨動力來源！海邊的日出不用移動身體就可以看到海面上緩緩升起一個巨大的火球，一天就是這麼樣開始的，四處走走，看到很多黑豬、驕傲羊群，美麗沙灘，還有寧靜野銀村，回到賓拉登家裡，把大家都搖起床，因為今天可是正式到蘭嶼的第一天，可要好好把握，到處去看看聊聊，不要整天都窩在家裡這樣什麼都看不到了！在東清村解決早餐，這頓早餐很有趣，電視機裡放的是傳教活動，有一個主持人熱情的在宣傳教義，可是感覺有點太熱情了，不斷呼喊著某些台詞，老闆娘不好意思的看著我們，我們當然也不好意思說什麼，畢竟剛剛抵達島上沒多久，對於很多事情都還很陌生，意見不敢隨意表達，就這樣解決了早餐。

抵達東清村，就順便到東清國小，那是最近才又重新裝潢完的學校，校舍很新很漂亮，據說兩千年的時候這裡是臺灣最早陽光會照射到的村子，有一棟傳統屋就是因為慶祝這件事而設立，｢ㄍㄚㄍㄍㄍㄍ一｣，天阿！一隻野豬，脖子裡的血就像河流，不斷的湧出，紅色的血液流成河，等血流得差不多，當地人就利用牧草，撲蓋在牛隻身上，直接開始煮！神奇的是原來這是拔豬毛的手續，利用火把豬身上的毛都給燒個精光，超方便的阿！當下是覺得有點可怕，因為聽到那一聲慘叫，又看到血流成河的情形，看到豬背後的傳統屋，才瞭解原來這是為了慶祝傳統屋整修完成，才有的慶祝！這次沒有很大方的留下來和她們一起享用。順道去了東清派出所，這目的很明顯～～想要見到陳建年，很想看看這樣一位特別的警察，不過似乎運氣一直不太好，昨天其實就找過一次，派出所裡一個人也沒有，今天情形也是一樣，想要到派出所去裝水，結果警局裡也是一個人都沒有，唉！緣分吧，不過聽說他是一個怪喀，常常悶在警局裡，平常是不會出來的！（可能就一直在寫歌吧）

順著環島公路，我們繼續往北邊騎過去，今天規劃行程是情人洞、朗島村、貝殼沙灘。情人洞，真的是很美的地方，有個海蝕地形，海浪打進海蝕洞，藉由共鳴的效果，海浪的感覺變的非常壯觀，大海的巨人或許正利用那個地方說故事，裡面的海也因為深淺不同的變化，顏色更顯特殊，幾乎每一種想像的到的藍，在裡面都看的到，很舒服的體驗，沿著礁岩可以繼續探險，斜坡上也有一群羊，懶洋洋的，應該是在曬太陽，從別的角度看情人洞，靜靜呆呆的望著海，很安靜舒服的感覺，什麼都不說，在這裡也看到珠光黃裳鳳蝶，在海風這麼強的地方牠也能夠生存，真的很厲害，遠遠看是黑黑的一隻蝴蝶，珠光黃賞鳳蝶！走近看，翅膀真的會有幻色，隨著不同的光影而有不同光澤，不過這裡的路不太好走，都是珊瑚礦化的路，不小心身上就會多了幾道疤痕。

一到蘭嶼，步調瞬間就降下來，不用趕路不用規劃路線，就是要融入當地，感受蘭嶼生活，在島上到處晃，到處和陌生人（島民）聊天，慢慢晃到貝殼沙灘，此時陽光已經不小，沙灘上已經曬的有點頭暈目眩，不過還是和禹竹走了一段很長的路，果然沒有白走，在靠近海岸的地方看到了很美的海，勾引出我忍不住想跳進海裡的衝動阿！當然貝殼也很讚！繼續往前騎，到了朗島部落，社區經營很健全的部落，為了徹底感受一下蘭嶼，我們在這裡的涼台休息一下，享受一下朗島的海風，就在朗島警察局前面的涼台，很棒很舒服，只是記得鞋子別採上去，別弄髒別人的涼台了！在朗島這裡有很多關於教育的設施，教會是一股很大的力量，我不知道是基督教還是天主教，在這裡有一個資訊站，可以讓小朋友上網（只是我們去的時候沒有開阿），聽說台大有營隊是這經營蘭嶼，希望她們的力量能夠往下紮根，帶動當地學習的動力，在這裡還有一個朗島自然教育中心，聽說是台中自然科學博物館提供資源來經營，這裡的蘭嶼資料很多，很適合大朋友小朋友來瞭解這裡，我們還看到一位織布班的阿罵，認真的用手工的方式在織當地的服飾，丁字褲的布、女人的藍色服飾，她們的衣服主要以藍色白色為主，顏色很協調，在織布的時候還要注意，不能站著看別人織布，是很不禮貌的行為，因為感覺就像是要批評別人一樣，要坐著看。在中心裡，是一位熱心的阿姨在招呼我們，解釋裡面的一些傳統器物，傳統屋的排水建築風格，非常熱心，也是很有趣的人，傳統屋的特色就在於他是半穴居的建築，裡面有三層結構，最外面是夏天住，冬天住中間層，最裡面那層是儲存非魚乾的地方，為什麼不會淹水勒？礫石堆砌的結構可以讓排水很迅速，大風來的時候，屋頂也不容易被吹走，（每次颱風，蘭嶼都是最大陣風的紀錄保持者）我最喜歡的部分，在屋前會有一個靠背石，坐在上面的角度，剛好可以仰望星空，一群人可以在屋前開心聊天，很不賴！另外，朗島的海灘，似乎因為不當的工程，為了蓋港口，而整個破壞了，唉！不顧地方居民的反對，就為了不知道為什麼要蓋港口的計畫，而把郎島美麗的海岸線整個破壞殆盡！

中餐是在一間藝術用品店解決，飛魚炒飯，我個人是覺得還ｏｋ，吃到曬乾撕成絲的飛魚，在很餓的時候，搭配炒飯，也是不錯的選擇，店裡的作品很多樣，屋頂掉滿扒皮魚（沒有肉只剩下皮），櫥窗裡有不少當地藝術家的名信片創作，還有蘭嶼圖騰的手環，環境很棒，不過這是發生在去自然教育中心之前的事情；離開自然中心，我們到當地的黃昏市場，去挑些晚上會用到的菜、魚肉，在這裡買東西真的不容易，菜要到農會去買才有，而且要一早去，下午就沒有了，對了農會是在島的西邊，我們住在東邊，看到黃昏市場真的是一大福音，

我和老妹各挑了一樣自己要煮的晚餐，就打道回府了，今天的夕陽也很美，橘紅色的海灘。回到家裡，七嘴八舌準備晚餐，老妹和我都大展身手，最讓我們意想不到賓拉登還特地幫我們準備不少新鮮的魚，他用自己特有，超重口味的調理方法，幫大家加了好幾道菜，好吃！今天晚上，也跟著附近的鄰居，一起去看蘭嶼角梟，還有潮間帶生物，平常就會去夜探的我，這時才發現自己的晚上找東西的能力真的有進步不少，爽，拍到很正的角梟，只是當地人是不喜歡角梟這種動物，她們認為這會帶來不幸，禹竹則在潮間帶玩得很開心！今夜依舊很美麗！

海風吹來，生活如此自在

晚上睡的很安穩，醒來絲毫沒有發覺原來自己已經在台東了，附近已經滿滿都是人，台東市救國團緊鄰台東市立體育場，有很多阿公阿罵早上就會到那裡去運動，很新鮮的感覺，整個救國團彷彿被一大群人淪陷，往富岡漁港路上的景物彷彿又回到了台北，都市水泥房，出市區，才有東部感覺，反過來想想尚未開發的西部過去又是怎樣的風景？究竟有多美！附註：老妹在這裡接手君安的腳踏車，在短期之內君安沒有辦法進行騎單車活動。

抵達富岡漁港，找到讓我們行程起死回生的船票經銷商，運氣很剛好，我們搭上了一個月才開一次的凱撒噴射船，回程是搭上固定一三五都會回到後壁港的交通船，在這裡印象最深的一幕就是我們請老闆把我們的來回船票都送港口，老闆在開船前的最後一秒帥氣的騎著機車在港灣裡壓車把行李都拿給我們，太感謝你。兩抹由排煙口傳出來的黑煙，宣告這一趟冒險的開始，不知道有抵達之後要在哪裡過夜？還是要露宿街頭，也不知道要有多少驚奇在等待著。

在船上，距離海岸越遠視野越好，幾乎可以直接看到整個臺灣的海岸山脈，每個人在陽光下，畫面都像是偶像劇照，回想起搭船的經驗，已經不知道是第幾回，不過這次很特別，把很難帶出門的妹妹都帶上船，值得紀念一下，希望她會喜歡我們逸樂的玩樂風格。海面上是一片寧靜，雖然噴射船很吵，可是藍的湛藍足以平定我疲倦的身心，我坐在船的側面，享受迎面而來吹不停的海風，兩小時的航程裡，看到了海鷗、海豚、飛魚，或許搭這種船賞鯨也不錯ＸＤ，遠方浮現島的影子，船上的人興奮的叫著，不是綠島，正是我們要前往的蘭嶼，高聳的山、崎嶇的地形、低開發、充滿達悟族的小島！

抵達港口，訓練有素的船務人員把我們的腳踏車都給扛下船，於是第一個問題就來了，君安的交通方式，似乎就只能靠機車，但是機車行似乎在紅頭村裡，距離港口還有一段距離，這該怎麼辦勒？

邊走邊發愁，運氣很好，正要離開的時候在港口邊看到了一家機車行，想不到有這麼貼心的服務，談妥價錢之後，順利取得，當然最神奇的事情也在這個時候發生了，我們遇到了一位當地人，賓拉登，他住在野銀，這是在整個島西岸的村子，當他聽到我們租車並詢問住宿問題的時候，大方的就和我們說可以到他家裡去住，天阿！！該不會就真的這麼順利吧！交通和住宿就在下船的半小時以內順利解決了。

到蘭嶼，是讓我非常興奮的，對我而言吸引我的是這裡特殊的生態，赤道的環境，每個植物都長的特別大，還有許多特別的生物在台灣看不到的東西，珠光鳳蝶、象鼻蟲、特大號的竹節蟲，還有海島的風景，藍到不能再藍的大海，像寶石般的色彩，蘭嶼我來了！到野銀的路上非常順利，第一次對於蘭嶼的感覺，崎嶇的道路，看到五巖洞、紅頭村、東清村、野銀村，似乎到處都有類似涼亭的東西，好像都可以住喔！第一次很重要因為大家往往有先入為主的感覺，在蘭嶼騎車的這個經驗很棒，因為有很舒服的海風，還有一群很棒的伙伴。抵達賓拉登家裡，大家把午餐解決後第一件事情就是午睡，看起來好像每個人都很累，我在外面的涼台趕日記，寫著寫著，有個鄰居的小朋友竟然就跑過來和我聊天，想要和我下象棋，天阿！這東西真的很久沒有玩了，應該很生疏了。戰績一勝一敗，在這過程中因來了另一位鄰居，把小朋友趕跑了，反而換成我在跟他下軍棋，這就更難了，軍棋已經是好久以前的回憶了，我真的還能玩嗎？硬著頭皮打下去，反正純娛樂麻～～～下場當然是大敗～～

再晚一點，大家都休息的差不多，賓拉登帶我門到老家裡去參觀，看到的傳統屋，還有達悟族人用的禮器，像盔甲、禮帽、配刀，在傳統半穴居窩裡感受到很道地的氣氛，出來之後熱情的長輩拿出傳統美食邀請我們享用，芋頭配上魚肉，聽說這是當地很傳統的吃法，我們就照樣吃了，果然感覺很特別。晚上，是妹妹掌廚，平常就喜歡下廚的她，果然把握住這次大好機會，讓同行的人都刮目相看、自嘆不如阿。晚餐結束，我們到海邊去看星星，感覺很棒，躺在環島公路上，靜靜享受海風，這就是我想要的離島感受，沒有太多人工的東西，簡單的生活（不過還是有很有趣的事情，觀光客的環島車隊在剛入夜沒多久的蘭嶼，瘋狂馳騁，有不少是為了看蘭嶼角梟或是到潮間帶去看生物的人群，一陣一陣車隊過去，深怕他們沒有看到我們這群就躺在路上的人～～）。
